Im not sure that someone could say they love this experience, but i can say beyond the shadow of a doubt that Dr. Fixler and his assistant truly love animals and want them to leave this world in complete peace. I happened upon Dr. Fixler from an article in the Phoenix Dog Magazine. I was faces with the horrendous decision of how, where and when i should say goodbye to my beloved 11 year old Rottweiler, Hades. While reading an article about the celebration of life, and Happy Endings, I found that Dr. Fixler also had a Rottweiler named Hades who was the reason for Dr. Fixler to start Happy Endings. I believe that was my sign as to what i should do. If i would have known about Dr. Fixler and his caring and empathetic love of animals the decision would have been easier. Dr. Fixler is a one-of-a-kind person. He made me feel better about my decision by giving me his professional opinion of Hades health. He also advised me on how i should handle Hades son, Thor, who is also a member of my family I was concerned about how Thor would react and if Thor should be allowed to be in the room while Hades went to sleep. Dr. Fixler explained that it was best for Thor to have time with Hades after he passed and that we didnt need to put in in another room, or lock him away from the celebration. I will never take one of my furbabies to a cold veterinarian office to leave this earth. The care and consideration that Dr. Fixler took for my fur family as well as my human family was unequaled. Dr. Fixler truly loves animals. He will treat your fur baby as well as he treated mine, with the respect and love that they deserve. Thank you again Dr. Fixler for helping us say goodbye

They are absolutely incredible. I dont know what I would have done without Dr. Fixler and his wife. My precious dog has had osteosarcoma for about a year, had her right leg amputated, and was doing well for almost a year. Then, the cancer metastasized to her skin (very unusual; bony tumors that you could feel underneath the skin), and to her lungs (although she never coughed or was short of breath), and she was heaving weakness in her remaining hind leg that made it difficult for her to get up ,and even to walk. Despite that, she was still eating and drinking, and still her sweet, attentive self. With absolutely no warning, yesterday morning she had several successive seizures, and I was alone at my house, with no car, at 4:45 in the morning, and my baby girl wouldnt stop having these horrifying seizures. I knew it was time for her to go. My sister called everyone she could, but all the "24 hour" places werent answering, but when she called Happy Endings, they actually answered. When they came over, they were SO kind to me, they didnt act like I was putting them out or causing them a fuss at all. They were very gentle and comforting, and I honestly dont know what I would have done without them. I didnt want my baby girl to pass away due to a horrible seizure. Happy Endings made sure she didnt. If you have a dog that you know is nearing the end of their road, Happy Endings is a great option. Seriously, I cannot thank them enough for being there for my girl and me. THANK YOU!!!

It is such a difficult choice knowing when the right time it is to say goodbye to a friend, a pal, your ever companion, your pet. I promised Daisy as she aged (20+ years old) that I would not wait and have her suffer, She was demonstrating all of the signs of nearing the end and it was time to say goodbye. I called Happy Endings because I wanted my dear Daisy to be as comfortable as possible (I mean she was 110 yr. old in human years.) We had her on her favorite tempurpedic sheepskin dog bed and they draped a nice blue cloth underneath her. I had already been made aware of the procedure and cannot say enough about the blessing of having family around the pet all stroking her, saying kind words, and saying goodbye. Afterwards, our two other dogs came over and actually tried to nudge her. They throughly sniffed her and then slowly walked away. Dr. Fixler could not have been more attentive or kind as he went about his tasks. I dont think he could have been nicer to his own dog. My family will miss Daisy terribly, but knowing she had no fear as she passed away was worth the cost. I would recommend Happy Endings to anyone who is experiencing the final days of a pets life. - A Neighbor in 85032

We were so sad to find out in early March that our sweet 10 3/4s year old black lab, Four, was in the rapid process of dying. We knew quickly that when the time came we wanted to have him depart at home in his own surroundings. It was very emotional trying to assess when the time was right but the morning of March 18th Four let us know that today was the day. We had already researched a company that covered our area but when I called that day to schedule they were rude and unavailable. Lucky for us we found Happy Endings, Dr. Mike and his assistant Jasmine. The staff was deeply empathetic and scheduled us quickly for that afternoon. Dr. Mike and Jasmine were kind enough to wait for my wife to return home from work so she could be there for it. The process was extremely peaceful. They were informative, gentle and gave us ample opportunity to process each step of the experience. Our dear Four was returned to us a week later with a beautiful poem and his paw print. If you find yourself in this challenging place, feel confident that Happy Endings will be the right choice. Treating you and your loved pet with peace and dignity. To the staff of Happy Endings, thank you deeply.

After having our Rottweiler named Riker for 10 years his health had progressed to the point that he was taking close to 16 pain pills a day and he developed a couple of more health issues. I hated to see him suffer and taking a 150 pound dog who hated riding in a car and hated the vet didnt seem to be a good option. I called Dr. Fixlers office and spoke to one of the ladies there who was very nice I scheduled the appointment for last Friday. Dr. Fixler told me he had 3 Rotties at home and he was a big fan of the breed which made me feel like I had called the right guy.... It took a couple of injections but Riker finally relaxed and went to sleep, the process lasted 30 minutes and it was over Dr. Fixler and his assistant were great very friendly and very comforting although it was much tougher than I expected it was the right thing to do. Thank you Dr. Fixler you and your staff are very professional and you really do care about what youre doing and I really appreciate what you did for us. I dont normally write reviews but this outfit is top notch and I have to say 5 stars to them...........

We wanted to take a moment to thank Dr. Pixler and his staff at Happy Endings In-Home Pet Euthanasia. Our beautiful black lab, Angel, was gently given eternal sleep in the comfort of her own home because of the wonderful service provided by this amazing doctor. She was reaching 15yrs old and was extremely handicapped due to tumors, hip and knee issues, and overall pain. This service was so important because it ensured that we would not have to pick her up and place her in the car, which would have been extremely painful. They saved us the dreaded trip to the vet where she would have been stressed by animals crying and barking. God love her, she even picked her own spot to lay down (in front of the couch), got comfortable, and allowed the doctor and his assistant to administer to her without a fight or grumble. She was absolutely, 100% ready to receive her wings. Thank you again for providing this service, and thank you for returning her to us so promptly. We were never so glad as to finally have her home. Love, Michael and Michelle Doyle
