I was at a complete loss for what to about my pain--from headaches, ribs, neck, back, knee, and even foot pain. Often times, this led to nausea, and lately, depression. If it was up to a medical doctor, Id have had surgery, and most likely have been put on pain medication with a large dose of anti-depressants. I have been told by medical doctors that the pain is psycho-somatic. When I initially called Dr. Harte, I was looking for more of a drop-in type visit, just to get some pain relief. During my initial phone call to Dr. Harte, I could already tell I was in good hands. At the end of the call, he said, get ready to start feeling good!" Well, I already did, and I certainly didnt expect a phone call to do that. Then came my first visit, where he conducted a complete patient history, x-rays, and chiropractic plan. I was amazed at how thorough he is, and how much I learned as well. He is truly gifted, and dedicated to getting you to feel better. Its not about a diagnosis, and in fact, I dont think there was one. As he explained, everyones body is different, but what is important is that each persons body has the innate ability to heal itself. What Dr. Harte is able to do, is to clear up the blockages, and restrictions which are preventing your body from this healing process. With each successive visit, my body has improved, and is feeling better. To my amazement, my depression is going away, and I also have more energy. The adjustments dont hurt, and are so subtle that I can only think he has a gift, which he uses in his healing process. I will say that if you want to feel better, dont wait--call and make an appointment. You dont have to keep hurting. Thanks Dr. Harte, and I look forward to my next visit! Dr. Harte is like my weekly tune-up. He has helped me with all kinds of aches and pains, and a nagging sciatica nerve. I really like his annual care program because you know that every week you are going to have his healing hands making your body right again. Im very active and play squash and golf, and both sports put a lot of strain and torque on my back and surrounding muscles. But Dr. Harte keeps me feeling great and ready to go. He is truly amazing. Sometimes Ill go in complaining of one part of my body and hell say its from something else and hell fix it. I always walk out of there feeling just great; very happy, and ready to go. I cant say enough about how important Dr. Hartes care is to my life. My immune system is strong and I never get sick. I tried another chiropractor in the city and while fine, she did not do what Dr. Harte does for me. It is so important that its worth it for me to drive all the way from San Francisco to Marin for that 15 minutes every week. I cant say enough about the wonders of The Harte of Chiropractic!

After spending over 30 years in various stages of lower back pain, from occasional flare-ups to, in recent years, chronic menacing pain, I have finally found a treatment that has genuinely made a difference. I have been under Dr. Hartes care for about a year and a half, and I can now say with all honesty that my lower back pain is very often nonexistent, something I have not been able to say for very many years. His care requires a commitment to very regular visits, beginning with 4 days a week and now at least two days a week. But like any real treatment for a serious condition, this commitment is essential. I am pleased that I do not have to resort to any invasive procedures or narcotics (I have tried both in the past with only fleeting success), just Dr. Hartes sensitive touch and accurate assessment of misalignment combined with my own regular stretching makes a world of difference.

When I first went to Dr. Harte, the sciatica pain in my leg was so bad I could not walk, stand or sit.The only thing my Doctor could do for me was to prescribe pain medication. I entered in to an intensive treatment program with Dr. Harte and after 2 weeks I could walk without crutches, after 3 weeks I was pain free.
