Reason for visit: Crown on Implant on front left tooth. I moved to the area in Aug 2013. In Oct I decided to start the process of getting an implant by Dr. Stephen King (Floyd Street - highly recommend!). He told me to find a general distist to place a tooth on an implant - and he gave me two local dentists names. I looked online for reviews on dentists in the area and found nearly no information on any dentist. I asked freinds on Facebook if theyd worked with Dr. Evans. No information. Since I trusted Dr. King, I stupidly accepted that Dr. Evans must do a good job. The first problem I found was that they didnt take my insurance. Matter of fact, they didnt take Care Credit either and payments were made before being seen. They refused to take the panoramic exray that Dr. King had JUST taken. Wny did I continue???? Because I had no idea of anything better in the area - no reviews were online! Months passed while the implant healed. Just before my last checkup for the implant, I went to Evans office and asked to look at photos of his work. I felt better when I saw beautiful smiles and normal looking front teeth. What I ended up with was a bill for over 2500.00 (just for Evans portion) and a short front tooth - shorter than any tooth around it. He filed down the perfectly healthy tooth beside it so the unevenness wouldnt be so noticeable. I asked Dr. Evans if hed redo it: NO I asked Dr. Evans if hed give a partial refund so I could get it redone; NO I still owe 600.00 and asked if hed wipe that clear: NO He said he felt it looked good and that hed done no wrong-doing. Strangely enough, they didnt ask for a picture to place in their portfolio. Gee, wonder why.

I have been using Dr. Evans for about 10 years. I call him "the painless dentist" as he is very careful to see that his patients experience no pain during treatments. He has a professional and cheerful manner and I would (and have) recommend to anyone needing dental care. Office staff is top notch.
