Laquisha Brown your "office" lady needs an attitude adjustment. You do not treat patients like crap and you do not get an attitude with them. Working in the medical field I know this. The lack of professionalism at this practice is DISGUSTING. It makes sense why doctors leave this practice. Having patients wait over 3 hours to be seen isnt how any practice should handle things. Its very discouraging to a patient who is coming to talk about how they feel and being attacked. I am not pleased with how they handle things. They do not take your health serious here. They act like you have an issue so you are coming in here. Theres a way of handling things when you speak with patients and there is a level of professionalism that your employees must be held to. Even if you dont believe the patient is correct you have to treat them as though they are. I will be contacting the practice manager to explain the lack of compassion at this practice and how displeased I am by the service of their providers. It is very important to treat people with respect. Being a rude disrespectful person will help you lose your practice. I will report this all to the GA board as well.

I was very well cared for in the crisis center during a brief stay last May. Dr. Gokal is very knowledgeable and kind. I have found the staff in the Cumming outpatient location to be helpful and caring. I received excellent therapy from Ashley. I have attended the group sessions and met some supportive people who are experiencing similar challenges to my own. Dealing with people with psychological needs is a delicate process. I am very thankful to have Avita as a valuable resource.
