We have gone to Dr. Cappas office for over a year. I believe we have the distinct honor of having the largest dog he sees - a St. Bernard at 199 lbs, and our other dog is a lab mix who thinks he is a St., too! Dr. Cappa and his staff have always been very kind and nurturing to our dogs, especially our St., Chief, who has major anxiety issues. Dr. Cappa worked with us, when another vet wouldnt, to find a solution to help Chief cope with his separation and anxiety issues. We are grateful for his care!

Hand on it, I trust these people with my cats life. His name is Furmat and I love that little dude. In fact, I would trust them to cut me open and do any surgery on me! Ha! They probably wouldnt do it, since they are honest professionals and such. I bring my cat down from Champaign. Its worth it every time.

The staff left a compression bandage on my dogs leg. It was too tight, and ended up being a tourniquet. He eventually ended up at the UI Vet Clinic everyday for a week, having multiple procedures, and ended up losing two of the toes off of his foot. This was a very tragic, completely avoidable incident.

We have been going to the Village Pet Doctor for 15 years, transitioning from Dr. King to Dr. Cappa. The kind and caring Dr. and staff is what keeps us coming back. The personal calls from Dr. Cappa with test results are a bonus! I wouldnt take our cat anywhere else...they are simply the BEST!! :)

Dr Cappa is wonderful and his staff is very compassionate. We have six dogs and they treat them all with love and kindness. Dr. Cappa explains everything to us each time we take one of our fur babies in for check ups or treatment of ailments. We are blessed to have a great vet so close to home.
