Worst place ever. I went for the CNA classes they offered. And class was great the instructor was awesome at first. Then clinicals started and a week into those she started being very rude to me. And making me feel like i was small and unappreciated there. She kicked me out of class for not being "fast enough." But what did she expect when she just threw residents on us that are completely dependent and take 20 minutes getting their briefs changed. A hoyer pad under them and then going to find someone to help you with the process of using the hoyer. Cause you have to have 2 people in the room just incase someone falls out or what have you. But she threw 8 people that were completely dependent on me so i was a little late to gettin them to lunch (which lunch starts at 12 and the people in the kitchen dont even have the food ready at 12. ) i got there at 12:05 and then she was watching me give one of the residents a shower and she was yelling at me the whole time. Half of the staff makes fun of you if you say or do anything wrong. Theyre not friendly at all. One of the ladies that was helping me seriously flipped a resident over to his side to change him and he hit the wall and was cryinf because she hurt him. And she looked at me like "this is what we have to do" theres a lady thats always screaming "help me" no natter where she is in that facilty and now i see why. Now to the residents....My first day of clinicals was stressful as ever. And i walked into a residents room and there were flies all over his room and he hadnt been changed in god knows how long. And i thats when i knew i was working with complete devils. Over the whole first week of clinicals i was just given random residents and 2 out of 8 that i had everyday were either sopping wet from their own uruin or they had flies buzzin all over their room and on them. The kitchen there is DISGUSTING. And when it smells like a nasty poop happened down one of the halls they just spray lysol in every room until the smell goes away. This is by far the worst place i have ever worked at. And i do not recommend you ever putting your husband,wife, mom, dad, grandma, or grandpa in that nasty facility. I usually dont go out of my way to write reviews but i had to on this one. What a terrible place to be as a worker or a resident. Save yourself the trouble and go sonewhere else. Please, youll regret every walking into that place.

If I could provide 2 ratings it would be a 5 for the Therapists in Rehab and a 2 for most everyone else. The nursing staff is inadequate which allowed for wrong med. dosages, disregard of fluid restrictions, and overall lack in following doctors orders as they initially received. We will never consider this facility in the future for any family members nor will we recommend them to other friends and family in the Plainfield community. We were overly pleased with the therapy provided and the care given by the girls but unfortunately that was not enough.

I finished my cna class here and it was amazing.the instructor is very positive and makes sure you know your stuff before hitting the floor. The entire staff is awesome and know each of the residents and always makes sure theyre taken care of whether it be the nurses, aids, admin., etc. love it here and dont see myself working in another health care facility any time soon!

I am so happy I made the choice to work for Plainfield Health Care! I accepted the Activity Director position in our memory care unit. I have worked with residents with dementia for 18 plus years and Plainfield Health Care is one of the best Memory Care Units I have worked in. The staff are very compassionate toward our residents and the unit is beautiful and calming.
