Ive had my fair share of experiences in physical therapy offices, but by far it has been the best at Accelerated PT. Ive been seeing Ara for over a year, working to rehab 3 different joints-- my right ankle, knee, and shoulder. Over the past year hes gone out of his way to ensure that we are progressing in whichever way possible. I first saw him when I tore my lateral meniscus in my right knee. My orthopedic diagnosed it as a lateral patella overload, but after seeing Ara for a while, it still wasnt progressing. Ara was the one who was suspicious, ran a couple of evaluations, and recommended going back for an MRI to check for a tear. He essentially spotted and found my meniscus tear. I then saw him for an avulsion fracture in my right foot from a high-grade ankle sprain, and he worked to rehab my ankle and knee at the same time. Few months later I saw him for a chronic shoulder condition. The choice was PT or surgery. I did NOT want to have another surgery on my shoulder, and he took that into consideration. He did whatever he could do to ensure that my goals and wants/needs were kept in mind during my rehab. PT with him is very comfortable and enjoyable. What I like about him is that he is very patient-centered and empathetic. His goal is focusing on the goals and preferred outcomes of the patient... And thats what you need to have a successful rehabilitation program. Even post-PT he checks in to see how things are going, and I think that is awesome! I definitely recommend him for any of your PT needs.

I hurt my knee last January while running. Within a month it was 80% better, but it plateaued there for 9 months. I could not run and it would not improve. Finally a friend suggested that I see Ara at Accelerated Physical Therapy and after a month of treatment he had me back running and after a second month I was completely pain free. Then I stepped in a pothole on a dark early morning run. I turned my ankle and tore a pectoral muscle when I fell. I went back to Ara and he had me back in action in no time. After seeing what he did for me and many other patients, I would recommend Ara to anyone.

I just "graduated" from Accelerated Physical Therapy with Ara, Megan and Claudia. I have to say their knowledge and skills to empower a patient through an injury was very impressive. They are all so friendly and engaging in a caring environment. After 16 visits and am now able to move on to the next level and training to prepare for the summer activities! I went to Accelerated Physical Therapy for my lower back pain . I has also see Ara in the past for various orthopedic injuries . Ara took me in right away no waiting time and promptly treated my back pain with great results. Im presently pain free and back to working out and playing sports. I highly recommend with a sports or orthopedic injury to call Accelerated Physical Therapy.

Took my 12 year-old in for pt on her ankle and received the best therapy ever! Had gone to pt before but with little results. Now she is cured and up and running - literally! Additionally, Ara had the best demeanor and really knew how to work with an adolescent as well as convenient scheduling options for the parent. I HIGHLY recommend Accelerated PT!!

I went to Accelerated Physical Therapy for a lower back injury. Ara Sakayan was the therapist and he was very thorough and attentive through my entire course of physical therapy. I recovered from my lower back problem and returned to my physical activity soon than expected. I would highly recommend him.
