I had a new patient appointment with Dr Karmo today. I have to say, after looking for months for dentists that my insurance covers, and reading reviews online, I was glad I found her. Well, that went down the "crap-shoot" today. I got to my appointment 30 minutes early (11 am). I was not seen until 10 minutes after my original appointment(1130)). Then I had to sit in the exam room for another 30 minutes while they "called my insurance". The doctor was not friendly, at all. She barely talked to me. She did not explain the procedures or care plan I needed at all. Then when I had to "schedule my appointments," the staff told me they only do treatments on "certain days" and it has to be from 9-2. While I understand many people may have the option of taking off work to go to a dental appointment, I am not one of those people. I specifically called and asked if they have Saturday appointments, and they said they did. Dont even get me started with the office. Dr Karmo lives in a very affluent city (West Bloomfield), clearly she makes good money, so it was disappointing to see how disgusting the office is. It is in desperate need of paint and new office equipment. Also, the staff must learn appropriate music to play in a doctors office. I dont think bachata or country music is suitable for a business venue. Also, the staff needs to communicate better. It took me 2.5 hours from the time I set foot in there to leave, and all I got accomplished was getting x-rays done and the dentist seeing me for 2 minutes. Finally, if your copay is under 10 dollars, you better bring cash, because they have a minimum charge, like a fricking gas station. Needless to say, I will not go back. They cannot accommodate me for appointments that fit with a working adult. I wish it worked.

THE DOCTOR PULLED MY TOOTH OUT GAVE ME A 4 DAY SCRIPT OF T3s only 16 so I used them in 3 days big deal Im in pain the more pain u have the more u will take so today I came in to get more pain killers bexuz I ran out she told me no now mind u I have temple pain cheek pain and gum pain every were I askes her to do a nerve block for me she said no and cleaned out the hole and put some blue numbing stuff in my hole that didnt help me so I left out luckly my doctor Mr gannam one block down the way saved my life it was either call the ems for nerve pain or go to him so I went to him and told him what happened they stoppes my pain right away gave me some pain meds and everything I needed this doctor here does not understand how bad is tooth pain and is not understanding to her customers I mean she pulled my tooth out right but she will only give u one script for 4 days and thats not enough u will be in so much pain on the 4th day smh doctor go to Dr gannam google his name he is right down the street from her Dr gannam that u ones again you saved my life today always stay loyal to your doctor

If you are looking for a compassionate, sensitive, thorough place to get your mouth taken care of, there is no better place to go. I say that as generally as I can because Dr Karmo can take care of nearly any ailment of the mouth, including pulling out erupted wisdom teeth, with NO pain, and so much sensitivity. Going to the dentist is terrifying for me, and most people, but she makes you feel like she understands that, and will do her absolute best to make you comfortable, She treats every person as an individual, and I am actually looking forward to my next visit with her. As well, she came up with AMAZING pricing for me when I desperately needed a wisdom tooth pulled, at a time when I did not have insurance and was working part time. Again, there is no better dentist than Dr Karmo. I live 50 miles away from her office and absolutely will travel to her when I need anything done.

well we will see. I just called 3 dentist before calling her. They all wanted 50 bucks just to look at my tooth. I already know what the problems is so why are they trying to charge. She is the only dentist I found so far that is willing to work with me. If everything turns out okay, I will suggest her to friends.

Her staff are so friendly, and shes a wonderful dentist. I was able to find out the cost of different services based on my insurance so I could make an informed decision. I will absolutely go back, and recommend her to anyone needing a dentist!

Dr. Eva KARMO is very caring and professional. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The only reason I didnt give five stars is because of the long wait time. My overall experience was good and I would highly recommend her.
