StoneCrest Patient at hosp. (Former Employee), No location – December 22, 2016 So in my stay in StoneCrest hospital was completely depressing in my time here. As a patient at this hospital I was accused of Schizophrenia and Psychosis and was placed in an inpatient system after doctors and social workers believed the false information that my mother has provided many people at this time. As someone with zero mental disabilities. I was told by an "expert" that I had some form of mental disorder. My stay here at the hospital lasted 17 days and I was force shots for false information and the lack of understanding. Doctor V., the expert here at this hospital does not listen to her patients and just provides medications regardless as into weather or not it worked on the child or not. She kept telling me that I had an issue, which was a lie and help me here for days. Nurses are completely rude at this hospital, they make fun and are completely ignorant. I was attacked here by them at night for about 12-13 days and nobody listened to me. I tried to get my mother to take back consent the whole time in believe for how bad the whole thing was. They watched over me on a 101 thing and while I was in prayer with God they said I was speaking to myself and probably assumed I was seeing things. All was reported to doctor and she really wouldnt listen. This hospital is terrible and hopefully I sue this hospital for breaking most of my rights. And Im glade Im free. I went through a lot with my people here too. I would tell you to go choose another hospital for you sake. Not safe for children that are not mentally Ill do to the fact that they would assume and lie to you and hopefully they get rid of that terrable doctor they have to help these children there. As a 17 year old I really wasnt understood at all by the other people here, so it was hard to get out. Basically like a prisnior life here for all of us. My mother at that time also put me through some deep things too by not listening me clearly, even before they tried to continue the program during this process before and was alright with pressuring my mother to make a choice to choose to lose both her children by either signing for consent or having the state keep me for no reason. They only gave her two choices. 1) Have the state force your child and keep her here. Or 2) Give us consent for forcement. She was pressured and decided opinions two. So at least was told after or during phone call time. I was discharged after my mother typed a letter to the hospital and the doctor signed us off. I planned on at that time to speak to the rights adviser there to finish filing the complaint after writing it and putting it into the box. That was a long 17 days and I highly would recommend another hospital. Also terrible and ignorant nurses.

I was a patient at Stonecrest for a week and a half. Let me tell you: if you have the choice, DO NOT send your loved ones here. When I first arrived, they literally didnt tell me anything about where I was. When I spoke to a doctor, she constantly made rude comments about scars on my body and how skinny I was. I didnt get to see a psychiatrist for two days. My social worker accused me of not taking my medication, when it was the nurses who werent giving it to me. And when they did give me my meds, they were switching my pills every day and I had no idea what I was taking, but they forced me to take it anyway. The nurses there are unsympathetic jerks. They are nothing more than bullies, who say hurtful and rude things not only behind patients backs, but to their faces. Literally EVERY DAY there were patients getting into fist-fights, and rather than breaking them up or trying to calm them down, the nurses simply fought back. It was absolutely terrifying because when enough of them are fighting, theres no way to avoid it. As a person diagnosed with PTSD I can definitely say that a group of people punching each other next to you is certainly not helpful for treatment. The food is absolutely awful and prepared with little to no care, simply tossed in a foam box and thrown at you with a fork. I was only supposed to be there for three days, but they kept me for a week and a half without telling me anything. When I asked my doctor when I would be leaving he avoided the question, or just straight up ignored me. I went in there to get help, and what I was given was the exact opposite, and actually made things much worse. Once again, if you have the choice, please dont send your loved ones here, if you honestly care about their well-being and treatment.

Ive been there and hated this place. They wont let you hug your family members When they visited me.i felt like if i was in prison. I wasnt able to sign out and leave. I received calls from my mom she told me that she was taking me to court to become my daughter guardian. After she assumed that i was never getting well. With my families in law. One of the female staff was rude to me. And the other one because i said dont we celebrate 4th of July.. She wanted to send me to my room. My mom accused me of not taking my medication s. Just to have the doctors at Henry Ford hospital. To put me at this crazy hospital she accused me of having schizophrenia. When she called the ambulance on me telling them that . I tried to tell the nurse when she called me 10 days later. Letting me know i had to go to court to take my daughter away from me. She applied for guardian ship to have my daughter. All the nurse at the desk did was gave me more medication to calm me down. And she would not listen to me. I was upset at my mom because of the way she had the ambulance to bring me at this jailhouse hospital. She also told the ambulance that i was mentally retarded. Im sorry for what you guys went through to. And sorry about your father. Please sue this place.they cannot get away with what they do To patients someone has to do something. Telling the state. Thats in charge of this hospital because if you dont speak for other. While your free they will abuse the other patients like that. You need to sue that hospital for giving the patients wrong kind of medication. That left your dad knocked out and not able to walk or move.
