Just an old country doctor... Dr. Heaton is the best! In August 2009, I got a 4-month old Siberian Husky puppy from a shelter in Chesaning. I was referred to him by a member of the Rotary Club, because I wanted to be sure he was healthy and fit for travel, since I was about to take him home to New York. He did blood work and tests, checked him out nose to tail, and even showed me the slide in the microscope, because he discovered the poor baby had a bad case ear mites! The pup also had round worms. Well, I was prepared for some sticker shock, when it came to the bill, but I was pleasantly surprised! At my vet at home the price would have been at least triple what I paid, plus we had NO appointment! I highly recommend him! .

Im a 10 year breeder of a rare breed. This "one man show" place was the worst experience Ive ever had. The doctor was extremely rude, disrespectful and difficult to work with. I came in with a sick pet and left with no medical treatment. Everything I requested he dismissed. Any advice I gave, again he dismissed. Hes not open to anything. He has the "I know it all" attitude and it showed. If you want a farm animal treated then he may be the man. Not for rare breeds tho. I will never return. I will pass this place to go ANYWHERE but here. I will gladly pay more for respect.

Dr. Heaton told me that my 4 year old dog was practically already dead from diagnosis over the phone. When I inquired, he told me not to bother looking into getting him licensed. I went to Veterinary Medical Hospital on Miller Rd. and they assured me that he is just fine! Ive never been to this location before, however, the doctor was very rude and unprofessional whilst speaking with me and I will not be coming here.

This doctor is a horrible doctor my aunt took her small dog here and just had surgery and had stitches and this guy was very violent and hit her little dog very hard open hand just slapped him in his little face and he was already weak from surgery if this doctor is going to do that right in front of someone. .. what is he doing in the back room with the dogs

We have been going here for over 3 years. He is great but can be s little gruff. Im fine with that. I like the tell it like it is kind of person and he is always caring towards my pet. Thats all that really matters. If you act like a jerk to him he will give it back. Good for him I say.

My dogs have had great service there. Dr Heaton is very gentle with nervous little dogs.The office staff lady is very quick to send paperwork you may need on short notice.This is also a walk in clinic I have never had to wait very long in the 6 years I have used this vet.

Dr. Heaton has always been kind and professional to me and to my cat. There is rarely a long wait, and the office visit and treatment charges are less expensive than most other veterinarians. I recommend him to anyone asking for a new vet.

This is a Vet that truley cares he knows what he is doing and he take care of his patient . My little dog was a puppy mill save and he cared and took special care of her, I cant praise him enough!!!

not particularly friendly on the phone... prices seem reasonable. cant evaluate his services. i plan to go somewhere else.

You can tell the owner really cares about you and your pet, prices are cheap. Kinda small but its worth it.
