I cant say enough about Dr. Baylis. Having recently moved to Davisburg from Northern Michigan, I didnt know who to trust with the care of our two dogs, Pike and Peanut. Then I remembered meeting Mrs. Baylis (mother) at Dr. Larry Bayliss (brother) Family Practice Clinic, and how fondly she spoke of her son - the veterinarian. She couldnt have been more accurate with her glowing review, and weve been reaping the benefits of her referral ever since. Just today (a Saturday), after the office was closed, Dr. Baylis called in a prescription for our chocolate lab, Pike - a repeat and lifelong patient. I cant thank Dr. Baylis enough for his extensive knowledge in veterinary medicine, his state-of-the-art (yet cozy) clinic, his willingness to help when we were in a bind, his friendly staff, and his ability to make us feel like a part of his incredibly loving, compassionate, and brilliantly gifted family (his father was a surgeon). We absolutely LOVE Dr. Baylis and his staff. They are loving, kind, compassionate, and personal. He was so helpful when our dog Annie was going through a blood disease. Dr. Baylis took great care of her and checked on her day and night. Annie has been doing well and survived this disease with his care. We also have had two cats that he took care of and was kind and gentle during their old age and passing. Since then we have another cat and dog that joined our family. Milo and Jazmine were born 8 weeks apart and have grown up together and with Dr. Baylis. He loves our animals and is always asking how they are doing when we are there with another and to see pictures. He is reasonable, fair, and does his job VERY WELL. We are proud to be clients of Dr. Baylis and spread the word about his practice whenever we can.

I have known Dr. Bayliss over twenty years, since he worked for North HIlls Vet in Rochester. I know him to be kind, compassionate, and always willing to learn new things. He is respectful and courteous to clients and employees- always a plus. He was extremely patient and kind with my Moms elderly, irritable cat who had IBD (Irritable Bowel Disease). He knew my Mom had recently sustained the loss of my Dad, and that the companionship of her old cat was very important to her in her time of grief. He helped maintain the cat comfortably for some time, until it was necessary to let her go. This was also handled kindly, respectfully, and gently. I highly recommend him as a veterinarian.

Dr. Baylis and his staff define great veterinarian care. Not only am I always thrilled with the care my "babies" get, but so are the friends I have referred to Baylis. Dr. Baylis and his staff simply love animals, and it shows. Their prices are also very reasonable, and (unlike other veterinarians) Dr. Baylis never oversells. He takes ample time during each consult and examination, such that every individual treatment is carefully considered, with cost and outcome in mind. Love!!

I dont usually write reviews, but people need to be warned before coming to this place. I came here with a dog that had been hit by a car because it was closer then my normal vet. They gave me a room immediately and then disappeared. In order to get someone to look at my dog I had make a seen in the lobby. Luckily my dog survived Bayliss animal clinic. If he had had internal injuries I believe he would have died waiting for the vet.

We came here just to have just have our cats check up and I was pleasantly pleased with them, not trying to push a whole bunch of different tests on us, and they also gave our cats a vitamin B shot at no extra charge. We will be using this Clinic from here on in. They have gained our loyalty and Trust.
