I have worked along side Dr Sim for years, between our time at the St John Urgent Care, and her private office. I find her to be one of the most compassionate, reasonable, and just the most knowledgeable physician i have ever had the honor to work with. So I do find the one star star view a little off. We work hard to make everyones experience a great one at this office. I dont consider saying no to a same day appointment at 3:00, or saying no to refills when a patient has not been screened in a while to be offensive. Is is upsetting? Yes, I am sure it is, but we are here to give the best care, and also to keep some order in the office for Doctor. So the small amount who think the staff , that myself , that we are rude, that we accuse people of stealing, or refuse to fill scripts, or that we called you a name? That is childish. We are doing our job. We care about our patients, dont ever think differently, because it would never be tolerated by our Dr Sim. We are like a family. You can raise your voice in frustration, and we will understand. We are not unreasonable. To the patient who was opening and slamming all cupboard and drawers looking for a glass to get a drink of water? The cups are right next to the sink. Did you need a jumbo cup? Those are in the kitchen, next time just ask. But you didnt, so I just asked if I could help you find something. I was brought up not to go in others drawers and cupboards. So, in the future, you who are not a child. Listen to what people are asking you. I would have checked on anyone who was loudly rummaging through drawers. Sorry your experience, and your need to lash out at our office was not a good one. I will do my best to continue to serve our patients with the utmost respect.

You can definitely tell she received her degree from somewhere in the Caribbean. She has no clue what she is doing, and has no clue how to diagnose a person. And be aware that she must have some side scam going on with Dr. Stephen Wilson, a pain management doctor in St. Clair Shores. I went to see him as she suggested, and he did nothing except cause more damage and more pain to my body. And when I went back to Dr. Sim looking for the next suggestion, all she did was push for me to go back to him. She probably also pushed me to go back because she is not educated enough to figure out why I am 27 and live in pain everyday of my life. The only thing worse than the doctor herself is her staff. Her medical assistant/receptionist named Maria must have just been pulled in off the street with no education. The office is run so backwards and I truly believe no one there has any idea what they are doing. If you make an appointment with this doctor, be prepared to be incredibly disappointed and be ready to look for a new doctor.

Dr Sim has been my doctor for the last 12 years and she is wonderful! I was struggling with fertility problems for years and the doctor I was seeing did not take my problems seriously. Dr Sim was recommended from a family friend so I made a appointment with Doctor Sim and she got the ball rolling. When she didnt like what the results were from a round of tests she orderd more. She listen to me and believed me when I said there was something wrong. With her help and determination we found out I have PCOS! No one else took the time to listen to me and help me! I TRUST HER WITH MY LIFE!!

As an employee of St John Hospital, there are plenty of doctor recommendations to be had, and I am very particular when choosing as physician. Ive been a patient of Dr. Sim for a little over six months and couldnt be happier. Shes extremely personable, has 45 min for every appointment so you never feel rushed, and actually listens. If youre looking for a primary care doctor you wont be disappointed!

I would recommend Dr.sim to anyone. She is the best Dr. She takes her time with everyone and really cares. She cares about all her patients. She understands you. I always feel welcome at the office. Dr. Sims staff is the best. They have the best blood drawers there. They are very friendly to everyone. She is the doc to see in the area. My family and I love her :)

Love Dr. Sim! Ive had many doctors and specialist over the years and Dr. Sim is by far my favorite! She and the staff are always very kind and helpful. She doesnt over schedule and takes her time with me. She answers all my questions and I never feel rushed. Youre not just a number to her. I would refer her to anyone!

I love Dr. Sim. I used to love her staff. But there appears to be a new person there, and I find her to be very rude. Does not change my opinion of Dr. Sim; however, I do not think it reflects well on her practice, especially for new patients who have yet to learn how fabulous she is.

The one-star review seems suspicious because it doesnt make any sense. I started going to Dr. Sim a year and a half ago, had to switch to a different practice because of work, and now Im on my way back. Shes a great Doctor.

The receptionist was very rude she talked to me like i was trash i was calling trying to find a new doctor she basically told me i was dumb for asking the questions i was asking probably because im black go figure.

I felt the same way I thought it was just me I am going to go and get a second opinion she was really cold and it was awkward I felt like it was her first time that she has ever had a male patient in her office.

Best experience at a doctors office Ive EVER had, friendly staff, clean environment, warm and caring....so glad a coworker recommended her to my husband. Our whole family loves her !!!
