I only take the time to review places that I would recommend highly and I can easily include Eagan Valley Dental in this group. I have tried half a dozen dentists over the years and always hated the experience, always dreaded the next one. Till now. I dont know how they did it, but I am looking forward to my next teeth cleaning. Office manager checked insurance for me and found my last dentist and contacted them to get my last set of records. Smiling receptionist, calm, clean waiting room. Dr. M is always smiling and very, very professional. Initially I rolled my eyes at their "inital patient visit," but in 15 minutes he had my health history and my personality absolutely pegged. This allows them to know who I am and what I need. Who I am: married, working mother of three. What I need: Efficient and professional dentistry with no insurance hassles, miminal chit-chat and the ability to get back out the door as soon as humanly possible. They did all this and added a free cup of fresh hot coffee in the waiting room and GET THIS: a free parafin wax dip/wrap for my hands. The first and only time I have ever been relaxed during a teeth cleaning. Furthermore, I sent them my husband who grew up as a missionarys kid in Africa, that is he grew up without the benefits of flouridated water. They got him in before work (miracle by itself) and then got him to brush, floss, rinse daily afterwards... I will never know how, but I am grateful. We have a new dentist. Finally.

Dr.Mittelsteadt and his staff are awesome.. I am so happy i had a friend refer me to see them. Now I can smile again. Also they know how to treat people who are afraid of the dentist. they are slow and calm and patient with people who have the fear of the dentist office. I just can not say enough about them. I know finding them i will never let my teeth get bad again. I was so afraid that when i sat in the chair i would start to tear up. With this staff i no longer do that. :) Plus someone is always there to answer questions after the work is done. They are truly a caring bunch of people who enjoy what they do and it shows.. :)

Ive known Dr. Mittelsteadt since he was in a high school musical with my daughter many years ago. I have always trusted him with the care of my teeth and especially with my implants. Before I was referred to Dr. Mittelsteadt, I suffered many years of pain in various dental offices but since I have been having my teeth cleaned and checked on a very regular basis I have had little or no pain in several years. I would highly recommend Eagan Valley Dental Center and all the wonderful staff, who do make the visit as pleasant as possible.

The hygienists and dentists here are awesome, the schedulers and front desk as well. Both my husband and I have had great experiences, and our 4 year old daughter has had her teeth cleaned twice (she did great at 3 years old), and our 2 year old son even had a little plaque removed and enjoyed taking with the hygienist and the dentist. Im actually looking forward to gong again in 6 months!! Nothing beats having your hands dipped in wax and moisturized while you get your teeh cleaned!!

Dr. Mittelsteadt and his staff are amazing. I have gone from need sedation dentistry to feeling relatively calm and comfortable when I visit the dentist. The care of my teeth has been exceptional. I highly recomment Eagn Valley Dental.
