Their exam prices are higher than others in the city yet their contact prescriptions expire in half (1 year) the maximum time (2 years) mandated by the state, ensuring that you must pay for a yearly exam to purchase additional contacts whether you need it or not. And although MN Statute 145.217, Subd. 2., states that, "...If the prescription is valid for less than two years, the optometrist or physician must note the medical reason for the prescriptions expiration date in the patients record and must orally explain to the patient at the time of the eye examination the reason for the prescriptions expiration date," I didnt find this out until I received a copy of my written prescription. So bring a full wallet and plan to leave it open.

Ive had glasses since I was 8 years old. Since then Ive been to roughly 20 different eye doctors. However, Ive never had an experience as good as I did today. From the moment I walked in the door everyone was helpful and made the visit fast and efficient. Karen even found my insurance information and had everything ready to go! The space is welcoming and pleasant - a relief compared to many old school eye care facilities. Dr. Olson rocks and made the exam entertaining and educational...very cool! I was able to decide on a pair of awesome new frames in less than 20 minutes thanks to Nikki! Overall...I cant recommend look+see enough! **I found their names on the look+see website, so this isnt a fluff review!**

I’ve worn glasses and/or contacts since I was in the 4th grade. That being said, I’ve seen several optometrists over the years! I’d recommend Look + See for the top-notch customer service and quality. Dr. Jerome is an outstanding professional and is able to communicate complex things in a straight forward, easy-to-understand manner. I believe she goes the extra mile in ensuring that my sight is as clear as possible. This may be a small item, but Dr. Jerome takes the time to get to know her patients. I am always impressed that the exam starts by catching up! I’ve never had an issue with my insurance coverage and I am willing to pay more for great service.

Wonderful experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in the office. The Dr. was also extremely friendly and very thorough. She explained exactly what she was looking for and what she found. I found myself very knowledgeable about my eyes after the exam. After my exam a staff member helped me pick out my new glass which was great! With all of the choices it can be a very overwhelming processes and they made it so simple. And as a bonus, there is free indoor parking. I would highly recommend Look and See Eye Care!

The lack of knowledge about insurance by the woman at the front desk astounded me. Every optometrist I have ever seen as raved about how I have the best eye insurance they have ever encountered. That being said the lady at the front desk started talking about this "more advanced" eye test that would NOT be covered by insurance and cost 49.00$. I later called my insurance company who said Of course we cover that 100%. In fact I left before even getting the eye exam. A great way to lose customers is to lack knowledge about their insurance.

Dr. Jerome was great, but the rest of the staff made me feel as if I didnt belong there. My overpriced glasses had issues with the lenses and had to be sent back twice, and when I tried to have them sent back again, they said that my insurance wouldnt cover the cost of the replacement again, even though the issue had nothing to do with my insurance or cost. I certainly will not be returning, which is a shame as o truly did like seeing Dr. Jerome, she was the best eye doctor Ive ever seen.

I just returned from my first visit with Dr. Sarah Jerome, and I couldnt be happier with my experience! I dont think I had even shut the door upon entering and I was already being asked how I could be helped. Every step of the appointment was incredibly smooth, no long waits, very professional, a modern and clean environment, and most importantly very knowledgeable, friendly staff. Im excited to continue with Look + See and to have Dr. Jerome as my permanent optometrist!

Going back today to pick up my second set of glasses. Dr. Jerome and her staff are awesome. Very knowledgeable and professional while making me always feel comfortable. They may not be the cheapest but they are quality. Its very simple. You get what you pay for. I am an artist and for the health of my eyes I want the best and am willing to pay more than the local mall shop or big box store. I recommend them to anyone that can appreciate quality and professionalism.

I love this place! And I love Dr. Jerome! As a testament to her dedication and care for her patients, two years ago she came in on the Monday of Labor Day weekend to care for me with a very urgent (and eye-threatening) eye emergency. I was astounded when she said, "Meet me at my office in an hour." Now, thats dedication! And she didnt charge an arm and a leg. I totally recommend Look + See; Dr. Jerome will be my eye doctor for as long as Im around! ellie krug

I have several things going on with my eyes (central serous retinopathy, limited short and long distance vision, spend all day staring at a computer), Dr. Jerome takes the time to really know whats going on and making sure my prescription is correct. The front office was also wonderful at directing me to glasses that dont make me look like an old fart. Wouldnt LOOK anywhere else for glasses, Dr Jerome is the only one I would SEE.

Have gone with my partner for years when he is in for an exam. The doctor seems friendly but its all business there. She looks at you as a dollar sign. Pushes you to do glasses every year even when there is no change. I prefer a doctor and staff that make you feel welcomed. My partner will still continue to go Im sure because its close to his house but I will never accompany him again.

I dont believe there is anywhere better to get your eyes checked than at Look+See. The optometrists and support staff are fantastic -- good at their jobs, knowledgable, friendly, etc. The store is clean and well designed. I tend to be a pretty critical person, and through the six or seven years I have been going I have never been disappointed with Look+See. Exemplary.

Ive been going here for several years. Dr. Jerome is friendly and personal, and I wouldnt go anywhere else. Although the location may look difficult to get to, it is really just 5 minutes off of 394 in rush hour traffic. If you are looking for a new eye doctor I would definitely recommend checking Look and See out.
