The staff at Nokomis Chiropractic have reintroduced my fiancee and I how wonderful care can be. I have been to many different chiropractors, and in the end, I have found myself to become lax and disappointed in the care Ive received. But here, they are a genuine set of individuals that come together to assist you in so many different facets of our lives. Nokomis has been the only chiropractic care that I have gone out of my way to recommend to family and friends; since my beginning, I have introduced my fiancee, my father, and soon one of my close friends to the care I receive at Nokomis. I have yet to schedule a massage at Nokomis. I continually speak about scheduling one when I work with Dr. Matt, but never seem to take the time to do so... which is a shame because Ive heard it is fantastic. I would like to introduce my brother, but the only down side is they are not available on the weekends. Though this issue may be difficult for some individuals schedules... I still would recommend attending at least once a week if the doctors deem necessary. My fiancee has been able to commit to once a week and I am able to commit to twice a week even though my work week averages to 81.5 hrs / wk. This is how much it is worth it for me to spend my valuable time with the staff at Nokomis. The clique is stating: "If I can do it, you can do it"... and though I dislike cliques, it is true. I hope to see more new faces! I could always use a partner for April trivia... :-)

Dr. Olson treated me for a number years and Ive never felt as well as I did under his care. For years, I suffered from migraines/headaches and chronic neck and back pain. I tried a number of chiropractors, with very mixed results, before finding Nokomis. The Pettibon technique allowed me to take an active role in my care - in strengthening my spine and reinforcing the adjustments - thus, allowing for LASTING results after each visit. For me - it just makes sense that you would need to reinforce/lock-in the proper structure post-adjustment. I was also glad that Dr. O performed x-rays throughout my care (since no other chiropractor had prior to adjusting me). [In hindsight, Im not sure why I would have allowed someone to correct my spine without actually having seen it.] Dr. Olson is incredibly talented and thorough. He takes the time to explain the theory and recommended treatment plan and his adjustments are fantastic. The rest of the staff is incredible as well - friendly, knowledgable, etc. Its a very happy office; I always looked forward to my appointments. Ive since moved to a different state, but could not recommend Nokomis more highly. I have never felt so well.

Nokomis Chiropractic has a wonderful team of professionals who truly care for your health and well-being. The administrative staff makes you feel welcome, the financial guru bends over backwards along with the doctors to find a solution to any budget need, and the doctors are knowledgeable and great at what they do. I have been a long time sufferer of chronic pain due to several car accidents I have had in my lifetime. I have three herniated discs in my neck/upper back. I had given up on ever feeling anything close to normal. After only a little over a month of receiving treatment from Nokomis Chiropractic I have a pep in my step and I am feeling pretty wonderful. I am not pain-free but I can live my life as I want to and not be completely miserable while doing it. They have helped me through adjustments, strengthening exercises, and making it possible for this single mom to receive the treatment she needs without breaking her bank. I am truly grateful for this fantastically genuine group of people who are looking to change the world by providing hope to those who have lost it. You can feel better. While in High School, over 25years ago, I had totaled a car on the back roads of a West Virginia dirt road. I had a few bumps and bruises, but nothing seriously damaging. Little did I know that incident would still be with me, even though I didnt feel like I had any form of whip-lash. Little over 10years ago, I had gone to a Chiropractor in Chicago for a sciatica nerve issue. Soon after I had gotten adjusted, I moved back to the Twin Cities. My busy schedule kept me from searching for a local Chiropractor, however, this year during the Home & Garden Show, there were Wellness locations set up through-out the convention hall. I went to check it out, and soon was signing up to get looked at, at a location closest to me. Nokomis Chiropractic and Wellness have been very accommodating with my busy out-of-town schedule, and are thorough with their findings, as well as ensuring each client is welcomed. Both Dr. Olson and Dr. Matt are engaging, friendly, professional, and informative. Their staff are just as welcoming and friendly, ensuring everyone has a good experience. I would definitely recommend Nokomis Chiropractic and Wellness to family and friends!

Six days ago, began the worst Migraine headache of my life and because of Nokomis Chiropractic- tonight its finally gone. I woke up on the 4th of July with a rare, hemiplegic migraine and after trying every trick I knew I eventually went to the Urgent Care. In an attempt to help, the urgent care unknowingly gave me a medication that made it worse and I was rushed to the hospital. After being treated in the hospital, I was released but the headache and its debilitating side effects lingered for days. It was apparent that the medications only helped for a while and didnt really fix the problem. After day five I was losing hope that my life would go back to the way it was. I brought my problem to Nokomis Chiropractic and immediately Dr Olson had astutely assessed my vascular condition and they got to work on getting me better. It took a couple of expert adjustments from Dr Matt, but as of this evening the headache is totally gone. It really was what I needed to fix the problem. Thank you so much Nokomis Chiropractic, I have so much more than relief, I have my life back!

I feel better than I have in over 20 years! Dr. Olson practices a technique, called Pettibon, that is a combination of physical therapy for the spine and chiropractic adjustments. The idea is that the bones wont stay in the correct position if the muscles arent released and a new connection made with the brain (called neuromuscular re-education). He uses x-rays as objective evidence of improvement. Some of the bones in my neck and back were at least 1/2 inch out of alignment (both side to side and front to back) due to 2 previous motor vehicle accidents (1st one was 20 years ago when I was hit by a car riding my bike) and working at a computer all day. I had a perpetual head ache and my back was so painful that it hurt to play with my kids. Over the course of a month, I got signifantly better; and now about 2 months later, Im feeling better than I have in over 20 years. Everyone in the clinic is very courteous and encouraging. I would highly recommend this clinic.
