Best Veterinary Experience I have had ! I went here to get my large mastiff mix neutered. Most vets in the area were $300-$500 and some even turned me away because they did not want to operate on a large breed dog. Northside was by far the cheapest and they offered better service (surgery was done by a laser and pain medication was included). They were extremely friendly and the surgery went really well. It was the kind of place that you feel really good about going to. They even gave me a cone to take home and just said to give it back when I am done. Its hard to find places like that these days. Northside is an exceptional place, I drove 35 minutes to go there and I will be back. I even donated $20 because of how much cheaper the surgery was and the fact that I didnt have to buy a cone for my dog.

Spent 3 months and hundreds of dollars at our regular vet ( Urbana Veterinarian Clinic ) and no cure for our sick dog. They led us to believe she likely had cancer and wanted to cut her open just to see what they could find because they were out of guesses. Took her to see Dr. King, as soon as he picked her up, he diagnosed the problem. A bladder stone 1 inch in diameter. Within the hour she was out of surgery and back home the next morning, acting as if nothing was ever wrong. From the vets to the receptionist, the entire staff is very friendly and genuinely care for the animals well being. Not only do they have our 3 dogs as new customers, but we have also convinced other family members to transfer their dogs to Northside as well.

I have known Dana King for years and have dealt with other Vets due to proximity but have always decided to make the extra drive to Dana. I accidentally overdosed my dog on worm medicine and any other vet would have put him down. Not only did Dana save him, we are 3 months later and he still takes care of him. Staff is exceptional, prices are reasonable, and Dana is extraordinary and amazing. I can not talk more highly of a Vet Clinic

As someone with 2 dogs and an overwhelming penchant to keep them healthy, I recently went to Northside Vet to help treat a stomach condition. The facility is clean and inviting, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeble. I was able to ask all my questions, and received great advice and care. Not only is Stevie the Dachshund in top shape, we feel confident and safe knowing Northside is only a phone call away! We cant thank you enough!

My dog was put in a cold cage with a rug but no dog bed and put on an I.V. She is old and hates noisy places. She got so depressed that we wanted to take her home so she could pass away a happy dog. Shes 18 now. We are giving her meds to her so shes not in pain. Her kidneys failed. We will truly miss her. The only 2 things this place is missing is peace and quiet and comfy beds for the animals

I love Dr Griffin. She has always been kind and compassionate to me and my animals. She took care of my boxer when he was very sick. She is now taking care of my new fur baby. She is always honest and upfront with me. They staff is also very friendly and helpful. They work hard too give each family the attention that is needed

Ive been taking my cats here for years. The staff is always friendly and on the ball. They remember my pets every time I take them in for a check up and really care about their well being. Dr. King and his team have always felt more like neighborhood friends than a Vet Clinic.

Staff is ALWAYS friendly. This is the office I grew up taking my family pets, now as an adult I take my own pets. Ive never had a bad experience and my animals are well taken care of every visit.
