Terrible experience bringing my cat here (for the first time) for what should have been a routine exam. Dr. Owens wouldnt talk to or go near her despite my offers to allow him to muzzle her or wear gloves to examine her. He expressed his fear of her several times while there and there was just NO plan in place to handle a scared kitty - arent most animals scared at the vets - especially one they dont know? (even Petsmart clips her nails without this kind of fear.) His suggestion was to put her "under" - for a routine checkup!! I refused of course, and there was NO exam, but he still charged me the full charge. Id say AVOID this place unless your animal is SUPER chill. Very disappointing (I dont blame the office staff, btw; he is the vet and should have some skills in this area). FYI, I reached out to Dr. O, but no reply.
