Ive been taking my pets to Pacific Veterinary for over 15 years. Most recently I have had to have my 16 year old lab put down and had my 12 year old long-haired doxie diagnosed with squamous cell oral cancer. Dr. Rebecca helped us with both situations. Dr. Rebecca made the process of putting down our elderly friend Maize a gentle experience for both patient and family. I was able to sit quietly with her as she passed and it was as good as it could have been considering the sad circumstances. Dr. Rebecca wrote us a lovely note and sent Maizies paw prints to us following the event. It was a heartwarming surprise in the mail and an extension of Pacifics care. After diagnosing my doxie Brownies squamous cell oral cancer, Dr. Rebecca referred us to Dr. Sievers at Southern Oregon Specialty Veterinary. Brownie quickly saw the specialist and had surgery within days to remove half of her lower jaw. Shes now cancer-free and doing well thanks to Pacifics quick diagnosis, research and referral. In all my dealings with Dr. Rebecca I have found her loving care and compassion, in addition to her professional skills, make my family feel at ease and confident in the decisions we had to make regarding our pets health. Pacific helped us to keep our costs manageable - making suggestions to help keep costs down when preparing the doxie to see a specialist. The techs and office staff too are all very kind and helpful. I appreciate this clinics honest approach to pet care and their tender care of both patients and their families. I will continue to take my pets to Pacific Veterinary Clinic and recommend it and Dr. Rebecca to others.

My pet was given an liquid antibiotic for a bite wound earlier this year. The liquid was properly sealed in for me to open and use when I got home. Unfortunately, my pet now has had a cough for two weeks, so I took him in. They prescribed a liquid antibiotic again at $23 cost. When I got home, the container was empty as they hadnt properly sealed it this time. The clinic owner REFUSES to cover the cost of the replacement medication. It is a one hour drive for me to even get to this clinic and so there are driving costs I incur to come get his replacement medication already. To not provide me a replacement medication at no charge, when it is due to their error, is not right. I got a call back after I complained and said I was writing a review and was told as a one time courtesy they would replace the med at no charge for me. I dont know how to remove this review, so it looks like itll have to stay and I changed my one start to three. Beware if you are given a liquid med.

There is a stray cat I am trying to get treatment for and I have been calling multiple vets most vets seem more interested in making hundreds of dollars off me then the welfare of this poor cat. I called this clinic cuz a couple friends recommended it. The first woman I spoke to seemed very interested in the welfare of the cat but I was not sure if I wanted to book the appointment there yet. I am glad I didnt cuz when I called back to book the appointment a girl name Britney repetitively put me on hold I was on hold so long my arm were sore and then when she finally did talk to me she gave me attitude, put me on hold again and then gave me more attitude. Definitely not using this vet.

My pup loves his vet and they are very good with him, wait times are rediculous even with an appointment, plan to spend half the day and if you get out quick then its a lucky day. Mostly just the wait, front desk is always super busy. Have had vax records a little mixed up before and overvaxed once for rabies, had some picy testing done never got to talk to a vet for results, was told shes on leave till later in the year. The vet is great though, just wish records were better and call backs were more diligent.

First time experiencing Pacific Vet was when I was working with the Josephine County feral cat organization and had to capture a neighborhood feral cat that had been producing litters of kittens to get her fixed. Pacific Vet is 1 of 2 Vets in Josephine County that helps with the cat population. I was really impressed with their knowledge and compassion and their prices. I use to use another vet in town but now I will be taking all my pets to Pacific from now on. I highly recommend them.

Vet clinic for large and small animals. They even make house calls. These vets are the greatest and you can tell they truly love your pet and their work. I gave it 4stars only because it is a little difficult to find and get to unless you really know the area. Lots of parking and the waiting room is bright and cheerful. It must not have that vet smell because my little dog was relaxed while waiting, which is a first. I highly recommend these vets for your furry family member.

The worst vet a person could bring their family pet to. They charge $59.00 to let them know your pet is on the way. Then another $43.00 for them to even look at your fur baby. Then after all they charge they tell you nothing about your visit or details to after care. Its a over priced vet that does not care about its animal patience. Never again. Never again.

Pacific Veterinary Clinic provides outstanding care for my animals. They maintain the highest medical and ethical standards. The vets are very knowledgeable and they communicate very well. The entire staff is professional and genuinely caring.

After being placed on hold twice it took a five-minute phone call to be told that I couldnt be helped for 3 weeks since I wasnt a client of theirs. They only give good service to pre existing clients.

A doctor Lea unethically killed an animal a couple of weeks ago by neutering a ill cat against the owners wishes. They deserve no business from people who truly love their pets.
