How do you give negative stars? I only gave one because I had to to post. Be very wary of going to or sending anyone you care about to this facility. A family member has been seen at this location by Dr Klyashtorny for over 10 years. This family member has severe mental issues and is unable to care for herself effectively. During a transition in living arrangements from one family caregiver to another, a monthly appointment was missed and we did not call to cancel or re-schedule. When we called to reschedule at a later date , we were informed that a missed appt. without a call results in a complete case closure per office policy and that we need to find a new psychiatrist, No Exceptions. IMO, it is very clear to see that since the office was unable to bill the state for a missed appointment, the monetary value of the patient was not realized so the practice removed the patient. I believe the priority for this office is billing and $$$. I sincerely doubt that effective patient care and improved outcomes is even a minor consideration In our case finding a new psychiatrist, although very problematic, is definitely for the best. A typical office visit there consisted of a 1 to 2 minute conversation MAXIMUM conducted while sitting across from the doctor at a cheap folding card table and the same meds were renewed over and over without question. In addition, this is an office where it seems that most, if not all, of the staff has a very poor grasp of the English language. Russian is the predominant language spoken by the staff. We should have changed doctors a very long time ago.
