I brought my four year daughter to this office and initially, she was scared. The nice office staff made great efforts to comfort her. My daughter was a hard cookie to crack until finally, in the actual chair where the doctor examined her eyes, she realized that it was not so scary after all. The doctor was very good with my daughter and made her feel better about being there. The nice office ladies, (one of which was the doctors wife) was so helpful when it came time to select glasses that would be a perfect match for my daughter. The atmosphere there was so warm and inviting. It is so refreshing that there are still family practices out there that care about their clients, young and old alike. The next appointment I make there will be for myself!

Just picked up some replacement lenses from the good doctor. I had ordered a box of contacts and one of them had a manufacturers tear in the middle of one of them. I went into the office to ask for information on the company so that I could contact them and Dr. Putterman said that he would simply order a new pair out of his own pocket. I was in and out not even within a minute. His staff is super helpful and friendly and truly gives Roxborough a good name. Simply the best

Dr. Putterman is very knowledgeable and friendly, as is his entire staff. He is up to date on current examination practices and is devoted to making sure the patient is comfortable. When I went to pick out new glasses, it wasnt too busy so Dr. Putterman and his two receptionists all helped give me suggestions for frames and watched me try on numerous pairs. I highly recommend this practice!

I initially came to Dr. Putterman because of my issues with contacts and he was very patient with me but his office staff was another issue. After several visits to pick up trial contacts since I was having problems, I did not like the attitude from his staff, and I sent Dr. Putterman a letter dont know if he ever read it. But the Dr. was great his staff was NOT wont be coming back..

The entire process was excellent. They were able to squeeze me in on extremely short notice because they understood I was in a bind. The exam was excellent and the selection of glasses and contacts were excellent. I Left highly satisfied and will be making this my permanent eye doctor!

Dr. Putterman is the best eye doctor ever! Ive been seeing him for about 15+ years now along with the rest of my family. I have a very challenging prescription, and Dr. Putterman always makes sure my vision comes first. The rest of the staff is also always very helpful and kind!

Dr. Putterman is amazing my entire family goes to him my grandmother, mom, brother, cousins, nieces and nephews AND my daughter. He is patient, efficient and never overbooked. I would only ever change optometrist if i moved states away. If its not broke, dont fix it!
