Do not come here if you expect any type of medical treatment. Was discharged on Friday woke up Saturday with 104 fever after complaining for 3-4 days to staff. next day 102.9 so I am now admitted in medical hospital for well first off 2 significant areas of pneumonia and they said when lone start began seeing the pitting edema in my hands and feet they should have taken me to an appropriate hospital because I actually have fluid around heart and lungs. I was so excited about the partial Hosp. Program with the horse (e equine therapy) sooo excited. Well called to see if since it cant start Tuesday. That didnt go well. then my mom called my therapist and for some reason they now are saying I am not eligible for the program. I feel so betrayed by my therapists kathy kidd she made it sound like easy peasy youll love php. They already accepted you. If I wind up on a ventilator or have been congestive heart failure (the edema is a clue of that one there than the 2 places of major pneumonia. I had been charge. I dont think I did anything those who final 3 days other than coming Laing about a Anyway. This does

This place is a joke. I went there expecting to get help. This place is literally a daycare for people with mental health issues. There is no one on one therapy. There is group "therapy" where they play videos and games on different mental health issues. All you do is hang out in the community room, sit on the couch and watch TV or read, and go outside for 30 minutes a day. The "nurses" are baby sitters and security guards. They do not help you with anything. I watched them play dominoes and talk to each other about patients right in front of me. I was actually the one giving advise and comforting other patients. The psychiatrist comes sees everyone individually a couple times a week. Everyone lines up like cattle. Her door is left open, and you can hear everything. Shes not there to talk or help you. She writes prescriptions for medication. If you want to get better find somewhere else. What I took away from my experience here was a big reality check. If I didnt get better, it meant ending up in a place like this. I went back to my regular therapist.

worst hospital ever . they put me on meds that couldve killed me and have allergy relations everyday it seems ,theyre not following state laws and regulations . Dr Moore override my other doctor which was mine so i stayed their for 1 month it was total disagrace to me i stayed for my birthday yes they have horses but just 1 bad doctor also if your love one doesnt take their meds you shipped to Harris county jail and court case the Harris county DA office Devon Anderson was over this FEMA hospital for mental health it was run like State Hospital ...i nearly lost my car and my health over Dr Moore indecisions over me
