Dr. Sun is an outstanding pediatric dentist with an incompetent support staff. The staff does not do the research to inform the patient of additional expense that would be incurred by using the out of network doctor that is used for anesthesia. The charges by bothe Dr. Suns office and the Anesthesiologist exceed the maximum threshold for reimbursement. Payment in full is expected on the day of service with reimbursements returning when the office feels like it. Our case took over 2 months for a claim that should have taken under 1. And we were not plesently surprised to find out after the fact that the anesthesiaologist (although a good doctor) was out of network. What should have been fully paid or at least 90% paid by our insurance turned out to be less than 50% because of the unexpected surprises. Not to mention the bills that went unpaid and racked up late charges because the money that was expected to be reimbursed took an unacceptably long time to return and was significatly less than anticipated. So if you do not need dental insurance and can afford the price out of pocket then Dr. Sun is the best dentist you can get. The office wont have a chance to mess up a cash transaction.

Amazing dentist and even fun for the kids. I took my children to several different dentist trying to find one i felt comfortable with and liked. Two of my family members told me about this place. Although it is a little further to drive than other dentist offices in my area it is well worth the drive for a good quality dentist. Dr.Sun is very good about answering any questions you may have about your childrens teeth. My daughter has some anxiety and Dr.Sun and the dental assistants were very patient with her and tried to make her as comfortable as possible. The staff there even made time today to get my daughters teeth cleaned after my sons appointment so I wouldnt have to come back on wednesday. One of the things my kids like the most is the play area and the movies they have on. When the children get their teeth cleaned they get to pick a movie they want and put headphones on and watch it. After their appointment they give them a coin to pick a toy out of the machine. Pacific pediatric dentistry is the best place for children.

Everything was amazing! Waiting room was perfect, although our child never made it past the gigantic bead maze. The wait was 5 minutes or less. The introduction was excellent and everything was explained to us in detail prior to the dentists arrival. Then, the exam went surprisingly well. We had been really nervous about it because our child is very wary of anything resembling a doctors office, but the dentist handled it amazingly well. He sang to our child the whole time he was cleaning the teeth. Granted our son still fought it the entire time, but it did wonders for my wife and I. We were very impressed and are happy we found this place. I think we may have found our childrens long-term dentist.

Dr. Sun and staff are always professional and friendly. My son has been going there for about 2 years and each time they make him feel comfortable. They always ask if we have questions and answer the questions well. I have never had to wait beyond my appointment time and most times, they can take us earlier if we are there before the appointed time. The outer office has a nice alcove where kids can play, as well as a TV screen playing a kid-friendly movie. Inside the patient area, there are TV screens overhead and headphones for children to watch while their teeth are being cleaned. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Suns practice to anyone looking for a child-friendly dentist.

I think everyone already knows that Dr Sun is the best pediatric dentist but I just took my crazy 2 year old to see him for the first time. My son was very upset and wailed but Dr Sun stayed so calm and sang him a song while he brushed and examined his teeth. It was so sweet and tender. He has such a gift for working with children, we are so fortunate to have him in our community. Despite having gone through the harrowing experience of getting in "Iron Man" tooth, my 5 year old looks forward to going to the dentist because the office is so kid-friendly and he gets to watch a movie while hes getting his exam.

AMAZING! I almost wish I was a kid again just to expierence the thrill of it all. Dr. Sun and his staff are wonderful. The atmosphere is very inviting. I love that they have a play area in the waiting room, but the icing on the cake for us was the movie. They have tvs overhead, so when your child is getting his/her teeth cleaned, they can wear sun glasses to block the bright lights and they give them head phones to watch a movie above them. And when youre done, they give your child a token to get a toy out of the machine. Keep up the great work PPD staff.

We have been to this office twice now, and our experience has been fantastic! Dr. Sun and the staff are warm, friendly, and welcoming, and the office environment is completely catered to kids. I appreciate how knowledgeable the team is, and how well they explain things, and prepare both the parents and the kids for their appointment. Wed previously been to another pediatric dentist office, which I thought was okay, but it doesnt even compare to the quality of this one. I highly recommend this office!

We were referred by our neighbor to bring our son here for his 1st dental check up. We are so glad we found this place! A child is definitely going to be drawn to this office with the décor and toys out front and in the dental area. The staff was pleasant and patient with are 1 year old and very informative to all our questions. I feel very relieved we picked a place I will stick with right off the bat. If you are looking for a dentist for your child this place will not let you down.

This was our third trip to Pacific Pediatric and the experiences have consistently been outstanding. Dr. Sun was referred to us by our pediatrician. The hygienists were friendly and well-skilled at dealing with my young kids (2 and 4 years old). Dr. Sun had helpful advice and a warm manner that both of our children responded well to. The waiting room had plenty to occupy the kids, which was great since we arrived a little early (our appointment started right on time).

The care that my kids receive at PPD is above and beyond. My kids are made comfortable and feel safe and are never expected to have their teeth look at unless they agree to it. The advice given to parents is individually tailored for each family. Today I took both my boys in, ages 2 and 5, by myself. They did the appointments at the same time and kept both kids busy so I could understand what they each needed. Dr. Sun, Dr. Kim and their whole staff are THE BEST!

Took my kids in for their 6 month check up and cleaning on Friday with Dr. Kim and they did awesome! My 9 year old has always been great at the dentist, but my 5 year old is not so much. The assistants were great with her and got her to feel comfortable enough to have her teeth cleaned and her first set of xrays taken!! Dr. Kim as always is great with kids and makes them feel at ease and have fun! We love it here and will be returning and referring here:)
