I just moved to Seattle a month ago. Two weeks here and I noticed that my 14 1/2 year old, deaf and blind pug, had an infection in her eye. I called VCA Magnolia because it is the closest to me. I took Ting in and saw Dr. Fang. I had been considering letting Ting go for months, but whenever I got serious about that and talked to our old vet, Ting would rally. She was still happy to be with me. Anyway, we discussed that and I told her about Ting. Turned out Tings cornea was ulcerated and infected. We decided to give her antibiotics while I got in to see a veterinary opthamologist. When Dr. Fang went to get the antibiotics, it looked like Ting might need to go to the bathroom, so I took her outside. Everything being unfamiliar and trying to get out the door, she bumped into my heel - and the ulcer exploded in a shower of blood. Awful. I ran back in, and the staff ran for Dr. Fang. It was clear - time to let her go. Here I was with an unfamiliar vet, yet I knew I could trust Dr. Fang. Dr. Fang was so kind and gentle with both Ting and me. A few days later, I received a lovely condolence card signed by the entire staff, but most significantly was that Dr. Fang included a personal note that showed clearly how she had listened to everything I had told her about Ting. It was so touching. A week after I picked up Tings ashes, I received another card saying that a tree had been planted in a national forest in Tings memory. I am so completely touched by the kindness of Dr. Fang and the staff there. When my other animals need veterinary care, I will be calling Dr. Fang.

My wife has brought our pets here for years and realized that this clinic is rip off after finding a new Vet. My advice go some where else anywhere else !! This vet is more about taking your money then taking care of animals. We brought our cat into VCA magnolia when it was hit by car. They gave us a initial assessment in 5 minutes and then gave us a quote without checking the cats condition. The charge was $1000 dollars and nothing was wrong with the cat. The initial charge just to see the cat was $200. Our dog was brought in for bladder infection because it pees in the house. $600 dollars and the outcome was no treatment. Our cat recently got into a big fight and we took the cat to new Vet in West Seattle. His tail was broken , ear was bleeding , cat was howling when it moved. The new vet checked out the cats condition made as assessment and charged us $75 including shots.. VCA magnolia wouldnt even see the cat for under $ 200. Maybe convenience is more important than money if not go some else.

Love Magnolia animal clinic. My cat Jackie is pretty skittish when it comes to getting in the carrier and riding in the car but once we get to the vet, he relaxes immediately because everyone is so gentle with him. I highly recommend going here if you care about your pets.
