I had a dental apt recently. When I went in the tech was trying to have me a panoramic x-ray, which I declined because I already knew the insurance company would not pay for it. I declined that x-ray and stated that I would get the x-ray insurance would cover. The lady who handles the payments told me I could pay the 62.00 and have panoramic done, I said okay I will use my care card, I was told I could not use my care card unless I had 200.00 done in services, I said never mind I will do what insurance will cover. The tech finally got me in the room to do x-rays, it took 3 people to try and get my x-rays done, the Dr. was getting mad and was telling the tech how to do their jobs. I finally made it in to see the Dr. and he was short with me and he didnt seem to care about me as a patient. Well as a I leaving I had to wait to see the finance lady, when I got back there I was told I needed a cleaning. I was okay with that, then I was told I need a special cleaning. I was kind of surprised since the tech didnt mention to me I needed a special cleaning. Well the finance lady said I would have to pay over 1,500 for the cleaning but the insurance would pay some of it so I would have to pay almost 900.00, they added in toothbrush that was 130.00 I was like hell no I dont need that type of tooth brush for that much money. The finance lady was very pushy trying to make me put a down payment for this service, I told her I dont have the money at this time. She said well you have a care card use that. I got so mad I just said I will call you to schedule appointment. I think this place rips of military because most people take what the dental office says at face value. I knew it was an issue when they kept trying to have me to the panoramic x-ray. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Horrible! Avoid Aspen at all cost. I went in a couple weeks ago because a filling they had done about a year ago fell out. The hygienist was sweet, the dental assistant had meningitis tears and gagging during the xrays. I have never experienced painful xrays in my life, but I did there. Then the dr came in, have never seen the same dr in 2 years of going there, he was a complete jerk. Would boss the assistant around and had a massive God complex. After asking several times would finally answer my question as rude as he possibly could. I was told that I needed a root canal on the tooth the filling came out of and 2 crowns and it had to be done together, along with multiple fillings, totalling over $4,000. When I told them I couldnt afford all that they starting pushing me to do credit apps and apply for financing. Well, instead of having them do anything, I got my records and went elsewhere for a second opinion, which Im so glad I did. Not only is the new dentist at a local office awesome and nicer than Ive ever experienced at aspen, but come to find out I never needed a crown or root canals, much less the special cleaning they said I needed that was $600. So the $4,000 they said I needed in work was not true, all I need is a basic cleaning and some fillings. Never trust what they say. Theyre money hungry and youre nothing but $$ signs to them.

As a patient of 6+ years at this location, I attended regular cleanings every 6 months. Seldom was the same doctor there two visits in a row. In no way am I racist, but the turnover was so frequent that it became impossible for me to distinguish between one Indian doctor and the next. Some introduced themselves, but most didnt. I often had no name to go with the person drilling into my teeth. Bedside manner left much to be desired (except for my hygienist, she was always very personable.) On multiple occasions I had difficulty getting numb for a procedure. Instead of empathy and patience, I received stoic irritation that my mouth wasnt cooperating on their timetable. Thats the unfortunate side of Aspen Dental... the atmosphere seems to be one of rapid-fire appointments. Theres little humanity or compassion felt on the patients part (again, from the doctors. Hygienists were fine.) The one advantage was scheduling flexibility. They have after-work hours once or twice a week and one Saturday per month. This is great for those who work and dont want to take time off. Just be aware this convenience comes at the cost of a very clinical, impersonal setting. I likely wouldnt recommend Aspen Dental to anyone, unless you have a severe tooth emergency and you need it resolved yesterday. Otherwise, wait to get in with a family dentist.

I thought I might have chipped my tooth and went in to see the dentist at Aspen Dental. Having been there once before I knew they would try and push more services and products on me to purchase but I thought Id give them one more chance. All I wanted was to have my tooth checked, nothing more, nothing less and I expressed this to the staff. Once again, thats not how it went at my office visit. The staff immediately started checking my entire mouth and gums and doing a density test on my gums and tried to sell me a $100+ toothbrush and tried to push a prescription mouthwash on me. None of this had anything to do with why I originally made the appointment. I was in the dental chair 45 minutes before the dentist asked me why I schedule the appointment to go in. They then tried to pressure me into have a $2500 procedure done that was not anywhere related to my tooth. The first time I was there a few years ago they did the same exact thing. I called me dentist from back home and asked her about needing to have these procedures done and she simply validated my thought of, they were pushing more services on me so that they could make more money off of me. I will never go to another Aspen Dental again and I highly recommend you dont give them your business either.

This is the absolute worse dental clinic I have ever encountered. My first visit was beyond painful however, I only had an exam and ex-rays taken. It took the technician an hour to get the instrument to fit properly in my mouth. I saw the dentist next and his teeth looked like he needed a dentist ASAP. The hygentist RECOMMENDED that I have a deep cleaning, after talking herself into it. "I think you may need a deep cleaning, maybe, I dont know, well let me see if the doc will approve it" Of course he did because it costs $975.00. I made an appointment for a REGULAR cleaning one month later, showed up to the appointment and was told that I had to have what they "recommended". I told the receptionist that it was merely a recommendation...they could recommend that I have all of my teeth pulled but, if I only had enough money for one, would they not pull one. Of course, no logical response. They tried to force me to have the most expensive cleaning or nothing, so I chose nothing and a different dentist. They are HORRIBLE, LACK PROPER TRAINING, lack PROFESSIONALISM AND INTEGRETY!!!!!! Dont go...
