After months of being patient with this office, I finally decided to return to my former optometrist despite the fact hes in Arlington. From my first visit, my experience was unpleasant because the receptionist berated me into buying my contacts from their office (rather than online which is what I usually do). A few months later, I began having an issue where either one of my eyes would randomly turn red for periods of time. The doctor said I had an allergy, but when I began to explore what might be the cause, she told me it didnt matter and just to take the drops she prescribed and stay out of my contacts for a few days. I continued to have random bouts of redness so I would do the drops and glasses song and dance for a few days until it cleared up again. Annoying but not life threatening. Fast forward to this past Saturday to when I woke up to pain so bad that I literally could not see out of my left eye. I called promptly at 9am to make an appointment but the receptionist advised they could not fit me in. When I told her that it was an emergency, she told me to go to an urgent care facility. When do urgent care facilities take care of ocular problems?! Exasperated and in a lot of pain, I let her know that I would be changing doctors. She sarcastically replied "thats fine with us!" My doctor in Arlington had no problem working me in under the circumstance and advised during my exam that the culprit to these issues was most likely my contact solution and that the allergy had left me with abrasions on my cornea and pupil- the source of the pain. He prescribed an antibiotic drop and advised to switch my contact solution. Just 2 days later, and Im feeling nearly 100%. Im not one to post a google review, but I really feel that this is something future patients should be made aware of.

My grandpa, who was visiting the area, just had cataract surgery and was showing symptoms of complications of pain, irritation and red eye (since he forgot his drops at home). Through his description, I suspected inflammation in the eye (which could inevitably lead to MAJOR complications that will reduce his vision and couldnt wait til he returned in 3 weeks). I called this doctor on call as an emergency to see if she could fit him in the next day just to make sure nothing is wrong and provide him with the needed medications. She first answered the phone as in "HI" without introducing herself or anything... even sounded annoyed that I bothered her to begin with. Her first question after I explained the situatoin was was what kind of insurance does he have. I told her medicare. She responded with "we dont take her here" Her response was "thats my day off." I asked her if she could come in to see him, and she said no. I asked if theres any other doctors on call the next day and she said no. Basically she didnt want to see my 76 year old grandpa to help ensure no ocular issues were going to take place. Instead she wanted me to take him to the ER and referred me to ANOTHER optometrist in her area. SOOOO save yourself the trouble and find a more caring doctor who cares about you and your vision. As an optometrist student myself, I know how patients should be treated, and I know that when a person calls with an emergency about possible inflammation (especially after cataract surgery), that is critical to get examined. I now know what kind of doctor I dont want to be when I graduate. Thank you.

I went to this clinic back in October and loved the doctor, she is fantastic. However, her staff is not fantastic. When I got my contacts and my bill for the visit I realized it was more expensive than I thought it should have been. I looked into it a little further and discovered that I was not getting my full benefits through my insurance. I called to get my money back because I was over charged. I was told over and over by Rosy, the manager who was NOT a nice person to deal with, that they have a special contract with my insurance company. No, Im sorry that is not correct at all. No business has a "contract" that completely removes part of my benefits and charges me incorrectly and says several times to me and the insurance company who told me that in fact they are not billing correctly. I was overcharged and lied to, and it seems like fraud to me. I will NEVER go back to this clinic, regardless of how wonderful the doctor herself was. Would not recommend this business to anyone.

Absolutely wonderful! I was in and out quickly and they were very efficient. They explained everything to me in detail. I understood what was going on and what I could do to better my own experience as well. I asked lots of questions that they were more than happy to answer. Everybody is always smiling and seems genuinely happy. They told me my glasses would be in anywhere from 5-7 business days. I loved that as it has taken many friends and family members weeks instead of days with other offices. I actually got my glasses 2 days later! Very happy and will recommend The Colony Vision Center to everyone I talk to! P.S. I live in Euless and will from now on, be using this office for any of my optometry needs.

I felt extremely pressured by everyone in this establishment, receptionist, tech, and doctor, to purchase a procedure I did not want. The entire staffs demeanor changed for the worse, when I told them I did not want the procedure. The receptionist became very apprehensive after I informed her that I did not want to buy contacts. I asked for a copy of my prescription, and she was extremely rude. Completely inappropriate behavior to display in front of a customer, and their children. I have never experienced such poor customer service.

Never use this optical location. They will sell you frames that will not stay together and refuse to help correct the issue. My daughter has had her glasses maybe 2 months and the frame came apart under the lens causing her to loose the lens. They said they would replace the frame but the lens was my problem. I can put a screw in the frame, thats not my main concern. I am mad that my daughter does not have glasses now and they done care!

Dr. Lee Ann is very friendly and she takes her time and makes sure that all of your questions are answered. I have been coming here for the past 4 years and have consistently had great service. This year I had my exam in February and came back in May for another eye exam as my vision changed, and they were friendly enough to trade out my unopened boxes of contacts for my new prescription. Talk about going above and beyond!

I had an unpleasant experience with the staff regarding a contact prescription order. I did not order contacts from them and was charged anyway. When I called to request a refund, I was told they could not do it. I was later told they would refund my money but I had to pay a return shipping fee ( for contacts I never ordered). I will not be returning to this vision center and would not recommend it to anyone.
