I scheduled an appointment with Custom Eyes Vision Care, a year ago, based solely on their available appointment times after 5:00 PM, Mon-Thu… or until 4 PM on Friday. They were conveniently located close to my home too! My previous optometrist closed at 4 PM (no appts were made after 2:30 PM), and no longer saw clients on Saturdays, at either of his two locations. Overall, my visit was great – the Patient Info/Insurance/Registration Forms were offered on-line, eliminating having to show up early to fill out “paperwork”. Dr. Tran took his time with my eye exam, was thorough, noting as minor a detail as seasonal allergies that were affecting my eyes. I received great service and my contact lenses were available for pick up within a timely manner. Needless to say, I returned for my annual eye exam this year - this time I needed new frames. Because it is “Back to School Time”, the office was a little busier than my first visit. However, the staff was pleasant, always following up and making sure I was taken care of, presenting a true genuine caring attitude; the Waiting Area, as well as, the relaxing atmosphere of the V.I.P. Room, has a classic elegance, is accommodating, clean and comfortable; I received wonderful customer service, children were confined to a play area, and as before, Dr. Tran was a great eye doctor. The patience, honesty, and competence of the staff, made picking out frames from an extensive selection of eyewear, quick and satisfying – with the help of Kevin, I found a pair that compliment me and perfectly suit my taste. I have finally found the perfect optometrist office for me and my family!

Needed an appointment for my daughter and was able to get one the next day, which is what I asked for! The receptionist had great customer service and was able to inform me of what my insurance would cover and what I payments I would be responsible for. The optometrist assistant was superb. She explained everything she was doing and the reasoning as to why to both my daughter and I. We were both offered snacks, which is a great perk! Dr. Tran knew her glasses broke and new she couldnt see too well without them. He introduced himself TWICE, when he first came in the exam room and then after she had on her trial pair of contacts. He told her, "just in case you couldnt see me the first time lol." Her yearly appt was scheduled and I was informed I would receive several different types of reminders, which I love!! Upon leaving, in two days would be Valentines Day, my daughter was given a beautiful long stem red rose. Walking out of the facility my daughter was smiling from ear to ear saying this was the best eye exam she has experienced. She made sure to inform me this place is the only place she wants to go to. From start to finish we had an awesome experience!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr Tran since 2007. I truly feel the experience at this facility is off the charts in customer service. I have always been treated with respect and a warm, friendly smile. We are greeted everytime we walk into the door and the staff remembers me by my name. The staff is extremely professional and courteous. I have NEVER had a bad experience here, that was not handled in a timely manner. Dr Tran is very professional and warm. I only come to the eye doctor once a year and he remembered me being pregnant with my twins as well as my other two children. He knows my husband by first name and specific points of our personal life from the last visit. I appreciate the staff and the service is so awesome. Any time I had an issue they fixed it right away (which was only once since we started coming here)!!!! I HIGHLY recommend Custom Eyes Vision Care for anyone who is looking for a professional, warm and friendly atomsphere. I feel like I am treated like a VIP guest in their home. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When our insurance company changed two years ago, we had to choose a new eye care doctor Since I knew Dr. Tran from my membership in BNI, we chose to go to him for our annual checkup. What a pleasant surprise! Not only was the examination by the tech thorough and lengthy, our blood pressure and temperature were both checked. This was a first for us in an eye care office. My husband and I have many problems with our eyes that mey occur with age such as glaucoma and cataracts, Dr, Tran checks for these closely on each visit. I am on medication for macular degeneration which problem Dr. Tran monitors very carefully. The office staff is very efficient and friendly, and CustomEyes staff provides state-of-the-art technology care and treatment. There is quite a variety of glasses available from which to choose; coffee and drinks are on hand; and if you really want a treat, the massage therapy chair will top off your visit!

Today was my first visit at Custom Eyes Vision Care. I must say that my expectations were met above and beyond what I could have imagined. The entire staff displayed professionalism, courtesy, understanding, patience and I could go on and on! The customer service was amazing!!! My children wear eyeglasses and the staff treating them amazingly well! I love this place and we are now customers for life. If you, a family member or even a friend is looking for an optometrist in the Cedar Hill, Desoto, Duncanville area, please look no further. Custom Eyes Vision Care is an AWESOME place to be a patient! From the moment we walked in the door until we walked out we were treated great. The showroom floor has a wide variety of frames to choose from and the staff is very knowledgeable in helping pick out your eyewear.

THE FRIENDLIEST AND MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF. I am a fulltime college student and was worn out wearing contacts with reading glasses and bifocal glasses with the wrong prescription. Dr. Tran spent quality time assessing my vision and my lifestyle. We worked with various types of lenses be we settled on a new multifocal lense which has been absolutely wonderful. Nancy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable during my selection of glasses. She knew the shape that would best suit my face and asked questions about my lifestyle which helped me finalize my selection. Seriously, when was the last time you went to see a doctor and everyone was actually happy to be there and their sole purpose was to satisfy your needs? This is the place. I would highly recommend CustomEyes Vision Care to anyone.

My eyes are horrible and I am very picky when it comes to where I get my eyes checked. After reading the reviews I decided to give Dr. Tran and his team a shot. From the time I called and set up an appointment to checking out everyone was extremely friendly and professional. During my appointment I worked with David, Renee, and Dr. Tran. This was the first time that I felt my questions and concerns were acknowledged and addressed. Renee ran all of my tests and we had a great time joking about how horrible my eyes really are. While doing my eye exam, Dr. Tran asked a variety of questions and in turn prescribed me some new contacts that would fit my lifestyle and my wallet. I will absolutely be returning for years to come for all of my eyecare needs!
