I started having chronic headaches around May 2012. I suffered through them for several months constantly taking Tylenol (Im allergic to Asprin and Ibuprofen) with no improvement. I learned to work through them on some days and on other days I couldnt function at all with them. I tried everything from sinus medicine to allergy medication and still nothing prevailed. Finally, I got fed-up enough and made an appoinment with my primary care physician around August/September ( I know that was a long time suffering but I was stubborn and kept thinking they would go away). We ruled out migraines which is what I was sure I was suffering from, and she recommended I go see a Chiropractor. I thought this was kind of odd since I was complaing about a headache but she was sure that Dr. Salama would be able to help me. As odd as it seemed to me I was willing to try anything to make the headaches go away so I made an appointment to see Dr. Salama. I must say I was truley impressed with the treatment at Salama Chiropractic. The staff in the office on Wendover were always very friendly and helpful and Dr. Salama was a joy to work with. He created a treatment plan for me that included coming 3 times a week and gradually working our way down to once every 2 weeks. Dr. Salama was very attentive to the progress of my treatment and made adjustments in the plan as necessary. He also answered all my questions and explanined my treatment plan and the exercises in a way that I could understand and know what was going on and why. As the weeks progressed and the headaches and their occurances decreased I still couldnt believe that Chiropractic services was my answer but I am convinced that going to see Dr. Salama was the best solution!! Before now I would have never thought to go to the Chiropractor for headaches but now I know and I am telling everyone else about it as well. Dont suffer from those headaches anymore go see Dr. Salama and his team and get back to living your life without headaches!!!

Dr. Salama has always been my Familys go to guy when it comes to back and neck health. For as long as I can remember he has been my Chiropractor. As a youngster a few tumbles out of the bunk beds calls for a good looking over, so I started seeing him for adjustments when I was in elementary school. It wasnt long before I was back to normal and only returned on occasion for a routine adjustment or slight discomfort purposes. Fast forward 15 years or so...now at the age of 27 I work at full-time job where I am sitting at a computer desk all day and my posture has become compromised. Constant discomfort in my neck and back with headaches most days that ibuprofen barely relieves. Dr. Salama recommended visits 2 times a week in which he would perform a technique that would help my issues. With each visit over the past four weeks I felt the constant pain and headaches begin to dwindle. Recommendations of exercises and changes in my daily routine were given to help me transition into a better lifestyle. I feel confident that with the help from Dr Salamas adjustments and treatment I will be in tip top shape once again. He and his staff at the Wendover office are genuinely caring people and very professional yet friendly. I truly believe in the importance of taking care of every part of your body and I am thankful for the work Dr. Salama does on my neck and back. Thank you Dr. Salama.

A few pops, a few cracks, and no more pain within a month!! I came into Dr. Salamas office in the beginning of february 2012 with crippling lower back pain and numbness/tingling/sharp pain in my right leg. I had herniated a few disks in my lower back 5 years ago and never sought Chiropractic care, boy was i wrong. Upon arriving to Dr. Salamas facility i was greeted with open arms and caring smiles by everyone in the place. After an x-ray it was discovered that i had some very serious issues in my lower back(3 twisted vertebrae, and the matching excruciating sciatica) on top of my herniated discs, and i was to be out of work and recovering for 3 weeks. One week later i was back at work(after 4 appointments), walking normally, and feeling like my old self! To this day (4 years later) i have very minor pain on after exerting myself a bit "too much". I have to give all my thanks to Dr. Salama! He has been and continues to be a very thorough doc, explaining everything to me as he goes along, prescribing different exercises, stretches and habit changes, and generally being a nice person. To any one who is in severe pain, or even mild back pain go see Dr. Salama, you will not be disappointed! Two very big thumbs up from this now pain-free client.

I was a new patient for this practice. I had a 2 oclock appointment (they begin the afternoon session at 2:00) I was on time and they took back to the exam room shortly after 2. They gave me a large amount of papers to fill out which took at 20 minutes. I then waited, waited some more and then some more until 3:00 at which point I went out into the hallway to ask how much longer and was told 10 to 15 minutes longer. I guess Dr. Salama values his time more than mine. I run a business and make sure I am on time for my appointments. It is just common courtesy and professionalism. I left and indicated I can afford to wait this long. What makes it even worse in my opinion, is that they didnt even bother to call and apologize or even send me an email. I guess they are above this type of actions. If you have the time you might find this practice to your suiting but in my one and only experience with this practice be prepared to wait and to be treated as a number. As an update Dr. George Salama did contact me and apoligized for the long wait. He indicated it was a mistake and again apoligized for for the error. I agree with his assessment is that while mistakes will be made, it is how the mistake are handled that is important.

As a veteran of the US Army, coming to Salama Chiropractic has given me much needed relief from the many injuries sustained during my time in the Army including 4 deployments to the war zone. Because of the extent of my injuries, from injured disc and nerves in my back to chronic daily migraine headaches, Ive taken medication for 10 years (2004-2014) with no relief from pain, to include some of the most powerful meds like Morphine, Methadone, liquid T3, and even Ketamine. So to finally come to a place that gives me enough relief throughout the day to get things done says a lot in the way they treat you. And Ive been to quite a few chiros in my day. Though for me, the fix may not be permanent, Dr. Salama and his team always ensure I leave out feeling conquerable of any physical task I encounter, and at the age of 37, married with3 dogs, its like having a new life that isnt filled with constantly taking pills just to get through a single day. So I highly recommend a visit to Salama Chiropractic Center, whether you have extensive injuries or just need a skeletal tune up, stop on by and let my extended family take care of you as they have me. I definitely encourage my fellow Veterans to stop by. You wont be disappointed!!
