My brother in law was rushed here by an ambulance to the ER here in LBJ. Im going to point out that they thought he had no insurance, keep that in mind. So he was heavily bleeding from a long cut on the side of his leg from the knee up his thigh . The ambulance wasnt sure whether he cut an artery or not so they quickly took him here. Now hes bleeding heavily and screaming in extreme pain. First he didnt get a room, second they decided to do the stitch job on him out in the hallway of all places right in front of everyone. They didnt give him no pain meds or anything so he was left to scream and suffer from them working on his leg . He had to get stitched both on the inside and outside, and at that a couple of doctors and nurses stuck their finger inside the wound . He had to endure all of this with no anesthesia, no pain meds , he was out in the hallway with blood all over the floor , and anyone in the hallway was able to watch his whole agony . The staff was also rude and the place looked rundown and smelled terribly toxic like some hobo came in and peed all over the place . It was filthy and dirty, and Im sure the hallway isnt even sanitized which is where they operated on him. And even after this whole painful experience, he was sent home with fresh stitches and no pain meds or anything to give him whatsoever other than a bill and an excuse from work for 10 days . Eventually as he left they found out he had insurance. But I guess it dont matter , I feel this puts them at risk for a lawsuit because this is unacceptable. Perhaps illegal . I highly recommend to not go here because certainly whatever youre coming in for youll come out with something worse to remember. .. -1 star rating... If my brother in laws wound winds up with an infection because of that filthy hospital hallway then I will see that someone answers for this. ..

I liked nothing rudest hospital iv ever been in,uncaring staff, oops they have insurance and a sweet paycheck, and I bet they get cared for by a complete different hospital .this is just a freakin paycheck for them including the rent a cop at the emergency room, these people only care about whats on their phones.they could careless about the people that come their for help, to the staff were just poor trash to them, so to them trash can wait but if you have money or private insurance move you past all others...maybe the mayor and the county need a paycut or them nurses and snotty staff need to be broke down off their high horses. We all bleed red we all came from a womb, just cuz u work for the county and you have a rent a cop to hide behind dont mean u have a right to treat people like trash. I would never tell anyone to go to this rude nasty hospital and the director never reads these reviews or they might answer a few bad raps and try to make it better oops I forgot they have health insurance and a very nice 6 figure paycheck , so who cares what the patient thinks or says, were just trash to most of those county people, Lil do they know I payed for all they got including their county salaries , that BMW , new house, all those vacations,etc if it got taken away they would be the trash to, so lbj get it together and treat ur patients and walkins better they have at one time payed ur salary or ur BMW payment or ur house payment..some cant help were life has put them at this point.u cant treat them right how do u expect to treat u, ur bad to them their gonna be bad right back, but you got a rent a cop they dont so unfair... I will not recommend this nasty county trash heap full of trashy uncaring people all the way to the DIRECTOR who is just like their staff..big heap of TRASH....

LBJ is HORRIBLE and deserves NO stars at all! My doctor sent me there straight from the clinic...dizzyness, falling over, head pain, ears hurting and my eyesight blurred! They looked at me as if to say"What are you HERE for...even though my doctor sent me there!" They would not let my son stay with me in case I fell...they were sending EVERYONE who came in with their loved ones to stand outside in the HEAT!!! ALL DAY THEY HAVE BEEN WARNING PEOPLE ON T.V. NOT TO STAY OUT IN THE HEAT...HIGH HEAT INDEX (ONE OF THE HOTTEST IN HOUSTON THIS SUMMER! AND LBJ WAS SENDING THE ELDERLY WITH CANES AND IN WHEELCHAIRS WHO HAD BROUGHT IN THEIR LOVED ONES OUT INTO THE HEAT!!!!!! The waiting room has been reduced to one very small room with everyone sitting on top of each other...some people coughing, others who looked like they were going to pass out with pain...and the ATTITUDE OF THE NURSES ARE THE WORST!!!! THEY COULD NOT CARE LESS ABOUT ANY OF THE PATIENTS!!!! THIS NEEDS TO BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE NEWS STATIONS!!! WE ENDED UP HAVING TO LEAVE BECAUSE I HAD TO SIT ON THE HARD FLOOR BECAUSE NO PLACE TO SIT AND HAD TO SIT BY THE DOOR ENTRY IN THE HEAT!!!! BEN TAUB HAS THE SAME REPUTATION BUT NOW LBJ HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM HAS THEM BEAT!!! I CANT BELIEVE PEOPLE HAD TO WAIT OUTSIDE IN THE HEAT FOR HOURS, FOR THEIR LOVED ONES TO BE SEEN! Ive been here before and once you finally get in, the DOCTORS AND NURSES ARE THE MOST CONCERNED AND HELPFUL AND POLITE! BUT, SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THE ENTIRE CHECK-IN AREA!!! THE WHOLE STAFF NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!! OUR PETS GET TREATED BETTER WHEN WE TAKE THEM IN FOR AN EMERGENCY.!

They are very unprofessional " the triage nurse are unprofessional and rude I went with a very bad coughing blood the head Nurse a male nurse told me I had alergies and screen me out the next day I fainted and the ambulance took me to sain Joseph. And u was diagnosed win bronquitis actúe. The doctor st saint jiseph told why did lbj hospital screen me out if I had fever ". She say you need a pulmonary doctor. Go back and ask to see your pulmonar doctor who is in lbj hospital I went home with antibiotics and I start getting scared ck again and the same male nurse was there. And I show him the papers. Anoy me having bronquitis not alergies he call Securty on me and was escorted out of the Energebcy room than I went to. Ben taub. Hospital and. I saw more patients that were at lbj Hospital that left lbj hospital because 1 9f the security officers at ben taub hospital told me That they were from lbj hospital. Lbj hospital needs to make changes to the Energebcy room staff Is peoples health conditions and stop Harraing people to cover your self from the wrong things you are doing. As far as not doing your job. Misdiagnoseding people and do not hide your batch. I went to patient relations at lbj hospital and nothing has Change lbj hospital need to be closed. To the public. The government. Agencys. Needs to Do something about including the mayor of Houston Texas and the governor. Of Texas Gregg about.
