I like the doctor here, but not the sales people. they are very pushy about getting you to buy glasses even if you just want contacts. they never tell you the total price until after youve spent about an hour looking at glasses, measuring your eyes, and clicking away on the computer. after all that they tell you that your $90 frames are gonna cost you $400 out the door. all they tell you before is that your insurance covers so much, but they wont tell you the cost of the lenses etc until after youve gone through all that hassle. and then when you tell them you cant afford it they give you the hard sell, "you cant afford to not protect your eyes" and one lady actually gets mad at the clients, her attitude completely changes after that. good luck getting out of there in under an hour, even when just getting a yearly exam and contacts it took almost 2 hours.

I will never return here again. The optometrist was good, but the employees were terrible! I was told 7-10 days until my contacts and glasses would be in. It has now been 20 days. I have called several times now, and they even said they called "the lab" to put a rush on the order. That was a week ago! I should have known better when I called to schedule my appointment. Adam answered the phone and booked my appointment for the Sunday before Thanksgiving. When I showed up Sunday, they didnt have me in the book! I ended up waiting 45 minutes before they could squeeze me in. Rediculous! The owner of this place needs to fire these jokers and get some real help. Horrible service! I want my outragous $824 back!

I feel like I was tricked. When I called to set an appointment, I guess I should have asked more questions. I was told that I would be given a discount for my glasses and contact exam because of my insurance policy, but I was not told that my insurance would not be covering my exam. When I called Lens Crafters, they told me up front that my insurance wasnt accepted there and that they didnt want me to be surprised with a $100 charge. I should have gone there anyway and saved $40. I paid $135 even with the $20 discount here... The doctor was very nice though.

I have been a Pearle Vision customer at the Rochester Hills, Michigan location for several years and they have served me extremely well. I have probably purchased 5 to 10 pair of eyeglasses from them. Their staff is very professional and pleasant to do business with, especially Kathy who is my favorite. Every time I need an eyeglass adjustment due to a bent frame or missing nose pad replacement, etc they always take care of it for me at no charge. I would definitely recommend Pearl Vision to my family and friends. They are the best..........

Dr. Robert Clark is an excellent optometrist who cares greatly for his patients. I was so impressed with Dr. Clark, I stayed with him and paid out-of-pocket when my insurance no longer covered the cost of a yearly preventative exam. Dr. Clark has seen my daughters and I through several emergencies and his thoroughness and care have been both comforting and results-driven. I would highly recommend Dr. Clark and have trusted him with my eyes for 14 years. I am so lucky to have found such a caring D.O.

My husband and I had our prescription from elsewhere, but couldnt find frames that we liked. We stopped by this store and they were amazing. We were greeted immediately and the staff was tremendously helpful and understanding. Kathie helped us, and she was patient as we had to juggle 2 toddlers while looking for frames. She helped us find frames that we would love, and went out of her way to help in every way possible. It was a great experience, and we will definitely be returning!

I have been going to this location since DOC closed its doors in 2009 or 2010 and have never had a problem with service or a wait on picking up glasses. The exam is thorough, great doctor. I have had to have glasses repaired and gotten those back quickly, theres not a wait when you have an appointment and the staff has always been helpful and I cannot complain about anyone that works there. If you are looking for an optical place, I highly recommend this location.

I am in the midst right now of the worst customer experience of my life, courtesy of this Pearle Vision location. Waited almost 5 weeks for glasses, no follow up from them, always me calling and asking what was going on. Ive asked to speak to the store manager. Her name is Martha. Shes avoiding my calls. I want a full refund for the $600 glasses. I do not want them to profit at my expense. Ive never been treated worse.

All I wanted was glasses I can actually see with. After 4 months of struggling Pearle Vision is still unwilling to remake my glasses to the correct prescription and material. Worst costumer service experience of my LIFE. Martha, the manager, is the rudest person I have ever met. They wouldnt even issue us a refund or store credit at the very least. Now I dont even have glasses. The way were treated is An OUTRAGE.

These reviews are all nonsense. Ive been going to this location for years and have received nothing but top notch service from both Dr. Clark and the "store" staff. Stuck deciding on a pair of glasses? Theyll ALL happily weigh in if asked...or help pick out options you didnt think of. Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes for service, whether to pick up a pair of glasses or for a repair.

I walked into the store trying to buy a screw and nut for my favorite pair of sunglasses. They do not sell these parts. However, the clerk fixed it for me for FREE. It is not easy as she spend 15 minutes finding the best match and trying different sets. The result is great! It look like new. Dr. Clark and his staff are very professional. We have been very satisfied by the services they provided since we changed to Pearle Vision Rochester Hills office about ten years ago. Specifically to mention the most recent visit for our daughters contact lens, Mr. George did everything he could for helping us to fix the rebate issue from the lens manufacturer.

Our family has been going to this Pearle Vision location for over 8 years. The optometrist, Dr. Clark is very thorough and competent. The store associates are always very helpful and go out of their way to service us. We have been extremely happy and have referred many of our friends here.

I love Dr. Clark but the employees are the worst. My daughter had an appointment at 8:40am and they scheduled someone else in her place and made us wait for and hour in a half. If my daughter wouldnt have need her contacts its no way we would have waited. This will be my last visit.

Do NOT recommend. Poor service and highly unqualified staff. Ive had glasses for years and been to many opticals. This is the ONLY one Ive ever had a problem with. Lots of opticals in Rochester, I highly suggest a different one.
