If youre lucky enough to actually catch Dr Houchens in the office and not on yet another vacation, shes backed up from being on vacation yet again. She does not address important medical concerns in a timely manner and I have even had to go to the ER after being dismissed for serious symptoms and told they couldnt fit me in for a week...because, shocker, she had yet again just returned from vacation. ER doctor was appauled that I had been turned away in the condition I was in and symptoms I had...because it was indeed serious and needed prompt attention. When I needed a follow up 2 weeks later because I was not getting better, she was on vacation AGAIN and I saw Dr House, who actually took action but made excuses for Dr Houchens and blamed the girls up front for my being dismissed. I have since needed medical attention as the condition continues to persist, 3 months later, and was blown off yet again for the last time. Very unprofessional. Ive lost my summer, being sick and in pain because of her neglence. I will not return to her office nor recommend her to anyone.

I was very impressed by Dr. Houchen. I felt that she addressed my concerns, asked good questions, treated me with dignity, respect and sensitivity. She spent a long time with me and I never sensed that she was in a hurry or prioritizing effeciency. Great bedside manor. She acted sensibly and thoroughly. She planned well and communicated clearly. Very good experience.
