I cannot give enough accolades to Mill Pond! Their staff, facilities, services, care & sensitivity toward our pets and the owners is phenomenal. We had been boarding our BIG DOGS (always a Newfie parent) for years. I would never board our fur-children anywhere else. I agree with Wayne Downs: our dogs were always happy & well cared for; ready to go back in the play area, rather than depart. The staff was attentive and knew our pets by name, even if I hadnt been there for long periods of time. But heres the reason why I would leave a 10 star rating if I could. I live incredibly far away from Mill Pond, yet I wouldnt even think to board my dogs anywhere else. I wish they could have been my veterinarians, but proximity wouldnt allow it. Recently, they were familiar with my old Newfie-mix, Kody. He was late in life with a malignant tumor and his time came suddenly. Our own vet did not call us back during a traumatic emergency at home (not until half a day later); yet MILL POND DID, right away! They took us in, under their caring wing and led us through the most difficult time a pet parent must deal with. Dr. Thayer and Dr. Collins are both deeply sensitive, caring individuals and I cannot thank them enough. They are the best of the best! Kody and his family sends their love. Thank you.

I had Mill Pond board my dog for 15 days. I have boarded him before at other locations and he came home sick and at one spot had bruises. Each place I took him he was excited to see me and ran to the car. When I walked him out of Mill Pond he wanted to walk over to the play area instead of getting into the car. He was clean, smelled great, and looked to be in better health. There was a large friendly staff who knee my dog by name. I love this place and will never take my dog anywhere else.

The best! Great staff and very reasonable prices for boarding, doggie day care and regular vet care. I took my dog here for obedience classes as well which changed her whole world. She was frightened of all people except for me and would growl etc at people and other animals...now it hardly ever happens. Shes more confident that Im in control and that she can rely on me. She loves all the staff and feels very comfortable any time we go even if its for a nail clip or shot.

We love Mill Pond. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Weve done puppy daycare, and one on one puppy training with Steve, which our puppy loved! Charlie loves the all the guys for puppy daycare she gets so excited when she sees them. Weve never had a bad experience here. We especially love Dr. Collins he always gets down on Charlies level and makes her super comfortable and has gone above and beyond for us.

I have to write Mill Pond to thank them for the care and compassion they gave my 16 yr old baby, Mogley, when it came time to put her down. They understand the connections people have with their furbabies, and treated both of us with a gentle, caring touch and dignity. Blessings to the vet techs, the Drs and the girls out front.
