I had set up an appointment and doing so, I asked if they took my insurance, specifically clarifying which one I had...I was told they do by 2 different people, a man and a woman. I go to my appointment, get signed in, go back for my eye exam and come back out for them to tell me that they dont take my insurance and would only give me a discount which would have still left me paying about 500$ for one pair of glasses. The frames alone were going to be 120$... I was furious. To add insult to injury, they were extremely rude when I tried to voice my anger claiming that it was my fault because I didnt show them my insurance card. I paid for the exam, took my prescription and left. I went to Target and had zero problems afterwards. I have never encountered such a group of clueless, rude individuals who would be so shifty to try and rip people off. That was the first and only time I will ever go into a Visionworks.

I am so mad right now. I had a wonderful experience getting my eyes checked(hints 2 stars instead of one). When I was in my exam I was asked what contacts do I usually use. I told them I use Biofinity. I was told I would get a call as soon as my contacts came in and that never happened. After I called and found out my contacts where there I went to the store to pick them up. I was first told because I didnt get a call my contacts where not there. Then, when I got my contacts they where not what I had ordered. I wanted Biofinity instead I got AquaTech. I have used Biofinity for over the past 3 years. The clerk told me its just a store brand of Biofinity. I did not ask for a store brand I asked for Biofinity. Now I have to go buy new ones and pay more to get what should have been ordered. This is my first experience with Visionworks and my last.

The only good thing about my experience here was the nice girl who helped me pick out my glasses. Besides that, they were all condescending. I left knowing for a fact I was going to be insulted as soon as I walked out the door. A little bit of friendliness shouldnt be too much to ask for, although I did appreciate their noticeably fake smiles. I almost picked up my phone to call Visionworks customer service (Im still considering)!!! Definitely avoid if you can, but if you cant, dont expect much from these pompous bunch.

My husband and I had an excellent experience here. The doctor was very personable and informative. Scott spent all the time we needed to select the glasses we wanted and answered all our questions. We found out they were out of network for our VSP insurance! However, we walked out paying less and getting more than our insurance would have covered even if they were in network. Well definitely be a regular customer here.
