I visited the Woodstock location today to place an order for contact lenses. I was unimpressed with the level of customer service received and felt totally ripped off-I was (and at this point will never be) a patient in this office. I was directed back to Dr. Reids office to place my order when I walked into LensCrafters. With my prescription in hand, I inquired about ordering contact lenses and was asked about my insurance. I replied with who my insurance company is and handed over my card. Apparently I didnt have he answer they were looking for and they got very irritated with me. I then asked how much the contact lenses would cost and they said theyd let me know. After not clearly explaining what my cost would actually be after insurance they told me I was getting a great deal at $70 a box (versus $50 I would pay other places). At this point, they had already charged me. They replied they could give me a rebate (so could the other places...and its available online). There was so much eye rolling going behind the counter and snide looks I actually felt really guilty for trying to be their customer. I was told a number of times they would need to create a file for me....and it would take them time....I truly felt terrible for taking up 15 minutes of their day! Thanks for the option to mail my lenses- it was the best part of my visit - I wont be back.

Every time I have an appointment with Dr. Chao, it is a very pleasant experience! He is so friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I dont live in Woodstock anymore, but continue to come to this practice because of the staff.
