I do not have anything positive to say about Aspen Dental except the tech that took my X-rays was very friendly & gentle. I had seen the tv commercials and thought I would give them a try... with a free exam & X-rays what did I have to lose right! They even had a large sign on their window as you go in FREE EXAM & XRAYS for first time patients! Well first the room I had my X-rays taken in faced the door as people came in which I am sure they didnt find any more pleasant than me... with my mouth gaped opened. I then was introduced to Dr Abdullah who has a very dry personality that I wasnt impressed with. I guess after seeing I wasnt impressed with his solution for me, he suggested I could get another dentists opinion even giving me a copy of my X-rays from a printer. After leaving I found out they had taken 2 sets of X-rays only which 1 will be covered by my insurance and one can only be taken every 3 years (panoramic). Lesson learned... dont believe tv commercials no matter how great they sound or their website reviews!

Horrible experience, took fiancé there for an emergency visit from chemo breaking down her teeth and she woke up with a swollen face, they got us in but treated my fiancé like garbage only because we just put her on our insurance and it take a week to update to show on carrier side. Then the dentist argued with her saying that she can take Motrin when she is breast feeding a newborn when the OB clearly told us not to use Motrin and the dentist didnt care, he also had the audacity to treat her experience as though it wasnt important as a matter of fact said " Ive seen worse so its not that bad and youre not in that much pain" I for one will NEVER sallow anyone I know go to this place again!!

I was able to make my appt. online THAT day which I needed.I printed out my new patient forms on-line so I could have those ready before I went in. I went in with a lot of pain and all the staff were wonderful which made things easier. The doctor explained to me exactly what was going on and causing the pain and what I needed to take care of immediately and what could wait for another time. Im one of those "hate going to the dentist" types (and my teeth are paying the price for that) but the staff at Aspen Dental is changing my views on that!

Emergency tooth extraction. I usually visit the Sandusky, OH, office. The crown came off late Wednesday evening leaving a partial pin protruding. The pin caused much pain as it was scratching the underside of my tongue no matter what I did. I called the Sandusky office first thing on Thursday morning but they had no openings, at all, so I was referred to the Elyria office. I got an early morning appointment on Friday. The staff was great and the doctor who took care of me was very nice, also. My experience with Aspen has been positive.

I have the biggest fear of dentists ever!! I can honestly say this is the only dentist-Dr Abdullah- that hasnt made me leave in tears. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because I had an emergency and it took them 3 days to get me in. I wouldve went to another dentist, but I am very comfortable with him and he is GREAT with my insecurities!! I do agree that the front desk receptionist is not the friendliest. Neither in person nor on the phone. Laura on the other hand - as well as the assistants- are wonderful!!!

The dentist himself was really nice and so are his assistants. The staff in the front desk area could definitely be friendlier. Speaking on the services alone, its very professional and the dentist does a great job. I had 4 fillings done and although it was pretty painful, they were very patient and understanding. Because of that, I will continue to go there. But if I was basing my review on first impressions which is what the people at the front desk are responsible for, I wouldnt go back.

Both times I have been to this location, I had to wait at least 20 minutes past my appointment times to be taken back. Once I was in, the service was good and I was satisfied with the procedure. As a new patient, I did not like having to do a first visit without getting my teeth cleaned. My time is important to me and this in my view is a waste of my time. So my dissatisfaction is really with their process not the service I received.

The dental asst. there were awesome very friendly and were really informative. The dentist on the other hard was a little hard to understand and seemed rushed and didnt really care just was in and out. Also the prices are a little high if you need to get anything done even if you have insurance. Overall its not an awful place but I personally have been to better dentist offices.

11:30 appt. and it is now 11:45 and their going to be "just another minute" So much BS. General check up is now 2 appt. Cleaning not included in check up. 2nd appt. needed. Signing papers before cleaning so I am informed they charge for both appt. Really? So much easier and nicer when I could go to Dr. K. Zingales. Cleaning and check up 1 visit no bu11sh17!!

If there was a half a star, thats what I would honestly choose for my rate. It took them 1 month to get an order in for 2 caps. Ridiculous. Not to mention when they decide to cancel your appointment, for whatever reason, theyll make sure they call you the day of your appointment to cancel. I will never go back there, not even for the life of me.

After not telling me when I had to start meds, I had to reschedule. The dentist was very rude to me and got very angry over his mess up. Then when I got my procedure he broke my tooth. Which happens, but my novacaine was wearing off and he knew it but continued because "he was almost done" now my face is very swollen and Im in a lot of pain..

As a new customer I felt rushed and like they were in a hurry to just get the xrays done and throw a $7800 estement at me and wanted me to make appointment to have work done. Went and got second opinion and found a much friendlier dentist that took the time to explain everything to me and can get more & better work done for $2800 less

It was my first time at Aspen Dental and let me tell Ive NEVER been at a dental office for the first time and have the office manager come out and introduce them selves. That for me was a plus Tom, Scott along his staff were Great!!!! Very satisfied with my visit!!!! I recommended my coworkers and Husband to them:)

The staff were really nice, the assistant Karen V. was very informative and answered all of my questions and kudos to Dr. Abdullah for the shortest and least painful visit to the dentist that Ive ever had. I had a tooth pulled and I was only in the chair for about 10 from start to finish. Excellent dentist office.
