What can I say about such a dental practice as this? I had to get some reconstructive work done because of a run-in I had with a parking meter. The parking meter called me fat, and I was like, "I am NOT fat!" and I took a swing, which missed, but did make me lose my balance and on my way down I caught all front four right on the metal knob. I may have had a bit to drink that night, but I distinctly recall the sickening sound of teeth bouncing around on the pavement. I was ashamed. Real ashamed. And as I lay there bleeding and passing in and out of consciousness, I was like, "this isnt over, parking meter. Im gonna Cool Hand Luke you just as soon as I wake up." If you havent seen Cool Hand Luke, you should watch it. He goes to jail and has this evil warden give him the business day in and day out, and he gets into a bet where he has to eat 50 hard boiled eggs and he almost doesnt finish, but he finally does and its great. And the whole reason hes in there in the first place is because he cut the tops off of parking meters. Like, whaaaat? But seriously, if his parking meters were anything like the ones in my town, then I totally get it. Anyway, thats how I came to be missing some teeth. So I go to Fish Hawk Family Dental, and I say, "Im just one person, not a family, am I still welcome here?" and they say, "I guess." and I wasnt thrilled with their tone, but then I met Dr. Anderson and hes like, "get in the chair, lets get you some new teeth." and I say, "not so fast." because I didnt want just any regular teeth. I came prepared with some concept sketches of different types of teeth. I mean, if you are going to get new teeth, you might as well try to speed up human evolution, right? So I considered replacing my teeth with baleen, to maybe become a filter feeder of some kind. But Dr. Anderson couldnt see a way to do it without removing all my other teeth. Fair enough. I had other ideas, too. Wolf teeth, baby teeth (he was nice enough not to ask where I planned on getting those!), and finally, I had this idea of just one solid tooth to replace all the broken ones. That way I wouldnt have to floss, because there would be no more space between teeth. Smart! In the end, for financial reasons, I let Dr. Anderson outfit me with just regular teeth, and I almost docked this review a star for that, but then I told him I was going to do that and he said hed knock $20 off the price if I didnt. So Im giving this place 5 stars. Will be back! I dont know when, but I have a feeling the rest of my teeth are due for an upgrade.

Nice facility, great staff. The problem is they do not have convenient hours for patients. Having an office that is only avail M-F 8a.m. to 4p.m. with staffing taking 1.15 hrs for lunch makes it extremely difficult for patients to get in an appoint unless they take time off work OR pull their child out of school for a min of half day (2x a year, I prefer to use my personal time for something more fun). I have never seen such office hours for a dentist. FHR is ONLY convenient to the people who live and even then not convenient. This location would most likely have more patients if they atleast accommodated 1 evening a week or even 1 Saturday a month.

My first red flag should of been the 18 minutes I spent on hold when I called in to make my appointments!! The second red flag should of been the 45 minutes I waited in the waiting room!! After asking about the wait time, I was escorted back and waited another 10 minutes to have the dentist tell me, my son probably didnt have a cavity. We actually have the x-ray to show he did!! I was done!! There are too many dentists that would appreciate my 5 family members and my word of mouth advertising!! Bye-Bye!!

Im surprised at the negative reviews because I LOVE this place. Dr. Damian and Kelly the hygienist are absolutely awesome. I wouldnt think of going anywhere else - and Ive had some pretty bad dental experiences in my past. Ive never had a problem reaching someone on the phone, and Ive never had to wait more than 5 minutes - theyve always taken me on time. They are all young, smart, hip and pleasant to be around, even though drilling and scraping are not anything I would consider pleasant!

DONT GO HERE!!! The only good thing I can say is that I was in pain and they gave me an injection which temporarily numbed the pain. Make sure that if they refer you somewhere else that they make it clear that you might be going out of network. ..meaning that you might have to cough up over a thousand dollars straight away as insurance is not accepted, so disappointing!!!

I have been going to Dr. Johnson since 2004. This office is very friendly and extremely professional. We now live in Lakeland and it takes about an hour to drive there and it is well worth the trip. I never had to wait more than a few minutes for my appointment. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a fantastic dentist.

My family of 4 (2kids, 2 adults) all go here and we have had a good experience. A caveat is that we actually followed our dental hygienist of a few years from another practice, so we didnt really go for the dentist, but our interaction with the the staff and dentist has been good.

Stay away. They have no idea what Tricare United Concordia covers. Charged us over $150 for two children cleanings. For military....find a place the will better use the Tricare Dental.
