Dr McIntyre is absolutely wonderful. However, his staff is not very courteous. They do not return phone calls, never inform you when tests, xrays, etc.. are back or what results are. Some of his nurses are rude and seem to have no idea what is going on. They forget to give you print outs for getting your bloodwork or other tests done. They do not send your records or call to schedule appointments with specialists when referred. I had to wait over an hour at the neurologist for someone at Dr McIntyres to fax over the referral that should have been sent over a month prior. Lastly, they scheduled my family for our regular 4 month appointment 6 months out then would not refill our regular daily medications stating that we were not back in the office within 4 months of our last appointment. By no fault of our own. These medications are nothing out of the ordinary that could not have been OKed for a month, headache preventives, cholesterol meds, arthritis medication, supplements, etc.... medication that cause health issues if you just STOP taking them. For these reasons we have decided to find a new family physician.

I have been using this office since last year but have only seen him two maybe three times. I like him would love to continue using him but they never let me see him. His nurses are really rude to me. They only allow me to see the nurse practitioner during my visits ; telling me he was not taking any new patients on but I have been using this office for about a year. Im switching doctors to find someone who actually has time to see me that cares about my health and not just in it for the insurance money. It really is all about a check to them.

I dont even give this doctor office 1 star . Theyre rude, phone system is not up to par : example: call no answer , never see the doctor, feel he is just running an insurance scam on patients to get money. They are the worst . I pray this office is closed. The nurses are really rude and the practitioner nurse is of no help whatsoever. If he cant take on more patients then he should not have them scheduling him to accept, but sees you the first 2 times then never again. I hate my insurance ever paid these jerks anything

I am someone with very serious medical conditions. I have been calling for an appointment for a few months. Cannot get a return call for an appointment. I doubt if Dr Mackintyre knows his staff is not calling his patients. Insurance is not a problem. I have the best; and by some chance the Doctor doesnt want me as a client, he could have given me a reason or at least the heads up so that I could find another practitioner---if for nothing else but to renew my prescriptions; as they are critically important for my life.

Dr. McIntyre is one of the best Doctors that I have ever had the opportunity to visit with. He always takes the time to listen to what is going on in your life and attempts to tie that information in with his diagnosis. He does not waste his time attaching a health issue, but jumps right on what he considers to be the corrective action. If that action is not working when you return, he is not afraid to look at other alternatives. Again, in my opinion, he is the Best of the Best.

Before I had the last half of a procedure done, everything was fine. Usually it takes two weeks for results to return. I have been waiting for 3 months. Every time I call I talk to someone different and that different person can never help me or point me in the right direction. Dr. McIntyre is wonderful, but his staff is very unprofessional and they dont return phone calls or reply to messages. Im done.

Dr. McIntyre was recommended some years back. I went and really liked him. He recommended my ONGYN, who I absolutely love, as well. I moved to Birmingham and still drove to Montgomery for appointments. Dr. McIntyre is thorough, honest and has great bedside manner. I not only call him my Dr. I now consider him my friend.

Dr. McIntyre is wonderful! However, the staff is questionable. It is extremely hard to get someone to answer the phone or return calls. It has been most frustrating trying to get prescription refills and someone to assist. Better patient service is needed by the majority of the staff members.

I have never had such a hard time making an appointment in my life. You call in to leave your number so they can call you back to schedule your appointment. Then if you miss the call back you have to start all over.

Terrible place...I had a appointment at 2:15 got there at 1:55 and still wasnt seen...so after sitting there for almost 2 hours I left...if I could give negative stars I would!!!
