Update 3/25/2016: Owner of the Polkadot (Dr Nana) called and apologized for the mistake and refunded the charge related to laughing gas. It seems like while Dr Nanna was away due to a personal event, this mistake had occurred. I was away in New York but in these 5 business days, we would have received at least 10-15 calls to address this matter. Everyone should be given a second change if they are showing the willingness to correct the mistake and this attitude of customer satisfaction has made me change my opinion and rating! There are not many who would give importance to customer grievance and be so prompt in responding back to address the concerns. 3/17/2016: If I can give zero STAR, I will do so. While store may give a clean look, their business practice are not transparent if not outright fraudulent! They gave one estimate for the removal of the 3 teethes for my son. We took the appointment for Friday 17th. Between the time I got the estimate and the appointment, two teeth came off on their own. Rational mind would make you think that cost for removal of one teeth should be less than the cost of removal of 3 teeth. Well you are in for a surprise! Appointment was for 2:20 PM. We reached at 2:12 PM. We had to wait until 2:49 PM and then they came. I told them that only one teeth needs to be removed as rest of the two came off own their own. They said, it should be quick. It indeed was quick but the BILL was two times the estimate given. When I asked for the reasons, they said that they decided to give LAUGHING GAS to control the pain. I was wondering why would the cost increase if LAUGHING GAS was estimated earlier. They had no explanation. So beware! They will give you low estimate to get you in the door but then will charge extra and sneak that in. You as an ADULT are not allowed inside the room and they do not ask before given any additional treatment that (may not be necessary). I wish they had told me upfront about the LAUGHING GAS. They had only told me that the area around the teeth to be removed would be numbed and that is not laughing gas! Shame on their GREEDINESS and FRAUDULENT POLICIES.

Just took my 2.5 year old daughter here for her first dentist visit. First off,as soon as we walk in there was a blackboard with her name on it giving her a welcome the office, there was also a TV on the ceiling playing a cartoon movie for my daughter, lilo and stitch (which we requested out of the many choices they gave us). The office is BEAUTIFUL, clean, the staff was extremely welcoming and made my daughter and I feel comfortable. Awesome paintings on the walls, all kinds of toys, video games, tvs in the treatment areas, the office is totally kid friendly. Both of our favorite part was the treasure wall where she got to pick some goodies to take home with her. Dr. Nanna couldnt have been nicer or more patient with my daughter, and we never felt rushed. My daughter wants to go back everyday to her dentist, so I know she enjoyed her visit. I was very nervous with how my daughter was going to react, but there was no tears and after having her teeth cleaned she was all happy and never scared. Dr. Nanna was so incredibly sweet, patient and great with my princess. She went through each tool she would be using with my daughter, showing her, letting her hold them, etc. Then she showed my daughter what she would be doing on a stuffed dog with giant teeth, she also let my daughter clean the dog giant teeth and my daughter had also a lots of fun doing that, everything was great. During the cleaning my daughter sat in my lap and I laid her down on her back with her head in Dr. Nannas lap. The cleaning & exam was very fast, and thorough. I really could go on and on about how wonderful our experience was. I Highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a great children dentist. I CANT WAIT FOR OUR NEXT VISIT.(POLKADOT THE BEST IN ATLANTA)

I am writing this review because that is the least I can do to thank Dr. Nanna and her staff for making my family visit to her a colorful practice an unforgettably pleasant experience. I found this office accidentally when I was going to Starbucks to grab a frappuccino. I was looking for a dentist for my children and I saved the number to contact them later to make an appointment. On the day of appointment, I realized the front desk lady had collected all the info. that I needed to know about my insurance prior to my sons appointment which made it so smooth and efficient. They treated me and my family so genuinely and professionally from the moment we walked in to their office that I felt home from the get go. More importantly, my son loved the office, specially with all the games, toys and books. Dr. Nanna was extremely professional and friendly and immediately made my son at ease. She was very through in explaining her finding to me that I understand a lot more about the condition of my sons teeth than ever before. We are going back next week for sealants and this time I am taking my other child with me! Dr. Nannas team does deserve a thorough and fair review just the same way they were fair and through to me. The team is extremely genuine and I think that is the most important trait about a respectable dental practice. I highly recommend it to everyone if you are looking for a very clean and beautiful facility, extremely friendly and caring staff, and highly educated professional. They really do deserve a fair review, thank you all and see you soon.

it was very bad experience; first the stuff is rude and it took awhile when my 3 year old sitting alone first time in a high uncomfortable chair was seen ( everyone was available they just were waiting till I fill up papers). Then we met doctor; doctor found 4 cavities in his front teeth and told me that they need to be removed!!..well, I was speechless as I did not want to do something so radical and asked for another option..well, another option was not available, however, I could get discount for the temporal fake teeth which supposed to be in my childs mouth till new one will come out..After long sleepless nights, a lot of advice I decided to get second opinion; when I tried to reschedule removing teeth appointment I was advised from Polka dot office do not delay appointment as their dentist is going to conference and teeth should be removed as my little one got infection and it can be dangerous. After numerous tries to find second opinion from another doctor ( I was rushed because of fact of infection) I found a dentist who checked up my kids teeth and said that extraction is not necessary and crowns will be fine as THERE IS NO INFECTION!. Everything was done in one day and my kids teeth are great; my kid keep showing everyone his Spiderman teeth. I am speechless. How dare you are to tell such horrible things. I am shocked the way how I was pushed to make decision about extraction..why? if you dont do crowns just make it fair and recommend someone who can do it.

This dentist office is FANTASTIC! We just moved to Georgia from Chicago, and I didnt know where to begin to find a new dentist. I googled pediatric dentists, read reviews of many, and really liked the comments about Polkadot. This was our first visit about a week ago, and my 8 year old daughter and 4 year old twin boys really enjoyed the set up of games, toys, movies playing, and the prize wall. It is very clean and modern with bright colors and a great decor that the children loved. The young lady at the front desk was WONDERFUL. The dental hygienist kept my boys engaged and laughing (at the same time I might add, which was impressive), and Dr. Nanna was amazing with the children and very attentive. When we left, my boys said "Mommy, the dentist was AWESOME!". They wanted to go back in just so they could tell them so, so we did! You cant ask for a better response than that from your children after a dental visit. I am SO happy that I found Polkadot Dentistry, and will recommend them to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist. Thank you for making this transition very smooth and easy! :-)
