This is my story..... about 6 years ago I had my teeth removed ,and I had dentures made and put in at that time , they didnt work out too good , I kept going back to the dentist office and would wait like an hour or so and then they would adjust my dentures and I would leave and end up gagging again. So after a while I had some one tell me to " adjust them my self " to sand them down because I knew where they hurt, when I did I butcher them they where no good anymore. So I did with out dentures for about 3 years, then I decided to try it again at that time I went to a economy denture place which ended up with teeth that was too big for my mouth, same thing I would drive there wait for a hour or so ,they would do adjustment I would leave and have the same problem, I quit using them and lost them. So that bring me to now. I am getting married on May 9, 2015 . My fiancé wants me to get new dentures for the wedding so I went to Aspen Dental , South Lebanon , Ohio talk to Dr. Mark Shur DDS who is a dentist there told him my problem that I was having and he told me that they would make the right set of dentures to fix in my mouth, he gave me some ideas to get rid of the gagging problem, they made my dentures the office staff was very nice and professional and Ive had my dentures going on 2 weeks now " NO GAGGING " if you would told me a month ago that I could ware denture from morning till nite without taking them out, I would have told you your crazy. no gagging im happy I will recommend Aspen Dental South Lebanon , Ohio Dr. Mark Shur and his staff to everyone I know that needs dental work done! Great job my name is Luke Marlar and thanks to them Ive had a very good experience there........God Bless

Dr. Shue seems like a good dentist, but my billing issues were a huge mess. I agreed to a payment plan where I would pay 50% of the costs of my work up front, then the rest before the final procedure. I followed through on my end, but then each time I came in they tried to charge me for something. Even after paying off the entire payment plan, I continue to get bills. The front of the house staff was generally unhelpful and not terribly friendly. I believe they have a new office manager so hopefully things have improved. The prior office manager (bald guy) was absolutely terrible - bungled the paperwork repeatedly and *never* apologized for any inconvenience. With my dental insurance benefits maxed out for the year, I went to another dentist for a second opinion on my situation and they said that some of the work I had done at Aspen was probably unnecessary. Ive spent about $2000 on dental work in the past year or so, most of it at Aspen, and I still cannot chew with the right side of my mouth which is what I originally went in for. Overall I feel frustrated and ripped off. My dental issues were not resolved, I spent a lot of money and time having work done, and I am maxed out on my dental coverage for the rest of the year so I cant do anything more about my situation. I will not be returning to Aspen Dental.

I have had to visit this place numerous times to have work redone because the cavity wasnt fully removed. Not only that but the fact that Dr. Nadikuda had to drill out a filling she had previously done because it wasnt done properly in the first place. Before she started drilling she said to raise my left arm if I felt pain and she would stop. I felt, what I can only describe as, electricity going through my tooth and raised my left arm (which she could obviously see, along with her assistant.). YET SHE KEPT DRILLING. On top of that, she injected me SIXTEEN times with a needle to numb me up, which didnt even numb me all the way. Oh. And the kicker. She drilled through the side of my tooth resulting in my now having to get a crown, which I dont know you all know but theyre $500 per tooth. So not only have I had to pay for two visits just to remove a cavity from one tooth, but Ive also had my tooth drilled through and now I have to fork out a hefty chunk of money to fix what shouldve been done in one visit. She never apologized for hurting me and told me to sit still whenever shed hit the nerve. Also, to ensure that I come back immediately, she put a temporary filling in my tooth. Absolute bullshit. Im taking my business else where. I 100% do NOT suggest this place nor this doctor.

So far have only had first appointment to determine what needs to be done and steps to get me there. However, I will say Dr. Shue and his staff are tremendously wonderful, kind, compassionate and caring individuals. Every experience with each different person from x-ray technician, to Dr. Shue to the hygienist, everyone was very comforting and listened to what my needs/concerns were. Im someone who is absolutely TERRIFIED of dentist but will say I believe my experiences to come with Dr. Shue and his staff will be the best Ill ever experience at a dental appointment. On another note, my son commented he really liked all the staff and Dr. Shue as well.

I have been to two Aspen locations, and dealt with three different dentists. You should all know, the entire dental staff in South Lebanon is second to none. Dr Shue, in my opinion, is by and far above any other dentist you will ever use. His best quality? He actually cares about you and wants your satisfaction. Trust someone(me) that inherently hates dentist offices. South Lebanon office, no matter where youre from, is worth every second of the drive. This man should be TEACHING dentists how to be a true dentist. Dont take my word for it, try him, then write YOUR review! Kelly Yochum

I had a big fear of the dentists for many years. My teeth were not in very good shape at all. So I checked around and heard from others and ads about Aspen. So I finally made an appointment. I just picked up my permanent dentures today and they are fantastic. I had very low self esteem for years because of my teeth. Now, when I looked in the mirror, WOW! I have not been on a date in about 10 years, but now my self esteem is so much better, I look and feel great. Thank you all at South Lebanon Aspen Dental. Dr. Shue, Barb, and the rest were fantastic. Thank You again!

Went to Aspen dental and they over estimated what my Cigna insurance would cover by almost $500. Made me pay out of pocket that day for services I wasnt going to receive until a month later. 5 months after that I noticed the overestimation error. Called them back and said I had a $500 dollar credit on my account. Why was this not credited back to me?? Good thing I called, or they would have held my money indefinitely. Now I have to figure out how to spend $500 on medical expenses before the end of the year. Thanks.
