We chose this practice for our son because on her website she listed various pain management options. We were very pleased with the initial visit, however when we came back for treatment, our one and a half year olds teeth were worked on with only the numbing shot! There were no steps of pain management with breaks if he needed them. He was screaming in fear and pain. This is the technique she called the hold and go. We are NEVER going back again. And I urge you not to. I realize everyones experiences are different, but now my son cant even be in a doctors office even if its not for him without clinging to me and sobbing. It breaks my heart that Im the one who chose to go there and my son had to pay for it. I would have given them zero stars, but couldnt.

Dr. Wright filled two cavities that my four-year-old son has. The whole process took less than 30 minutes and went so smoothly that I couldnt believe it. My son is sensitive to sounds and I thought for sure that the instruments would result in tears and anguish. Dr. Wright showed him each instrument and used it on the back of his hand so that he knew what sensation to expect in his mouth. She joked with him and put him at ease before starting her work. The hygienist, Mandy, also made sure to make my son comfortable. I really couldnt be more pleased with our experience at Wright Smiles and would highly recommend it.

When we took my son to another pediatric dentist (his first visit), the dentist tried to have the nurse put arm restraints on him! What a first impression! I pulled him away and left immediately. We were referred to Dr. Jody and although its a bit of a drive from Cincinnati, its worth it. The first visit was just a consultation for our son to get used to the office, chair, watch a movie while he did so, etc. When he was ready for the real dentist visit, he was fine and has been since. He actually jumps up in the chair. Thankfully we found Dr. Jody before my son learned to "hate" the dentist.

We took our children to Dr. Wright a couple of times A few years ago. She wanted to do a procedure on my son, which I disagreed with. I got a 2nd opinion from my dentist, and opted not to go through with it. A few months later I called Wright Smiles to schedule my childrens regular cleaning. I was told that while my daughter was welcome to come in, my son could not come back, even for cleanings, until this procedure was done. It was not a necessary procedure, and it was my right to refuse it. So we will not go back. And I will never recommend her to anyone.

1 star for the dental staff. Although our son was eligible for IV sedation by TRICARE, they did not help at all with the paperwork to submit our claim. I finally convinced them that IV sedation was indeed covered and had to pull teeth (no pun intended) to get the staff have our paperwork completed. Each visit to her office was met by glares by the office staff. Dr. Wright was fantastic but she would best be served by competent and friendlier staff.

We love the office, the staff, and the dentist. The only thing we dont like is how busy they are. We had to reschedule our daughters appointment once and it seriously took almost 4 months to get her back in at a time that we could make (and our schedules arent that crazy). They also have Saturday appointments about one Saturday a month, but these are always booked up at least 6 months in advance. Besides the scheduling issues, we love the place.

The hygienists have always made sure our son is comfortable and theyre flexible with their techniques, taking into account that each child is unique. Dr. Jody is fantastic at working with kids. Its nice that the staff allows you to come back with your children (in most instances). The past few visits, weve had very positive experiences. The office is always clean and kid-friendly. The staff is always friendly and follows up with you if needed.

Hygienist was GREAT, Dentist however did not address to my 4 year old who she was, she came in looked @ his teeth glanced @ xray and said small cavity would like to feel and that Dr Wright would be great doing it then left. Hygienist tried explaining all to me but by the time we reached check out desk it had turned into completely different procedure. Will not be back!
