This faciltiy will take advantage of the pet owner and financially and emotionally. I had two experiences at this facility (who is owned by Dan Coscow who also owns Newton animal Hospital). Go figure. About a month a go, my pet was put on a weak antibiotic which cost over $100 and didnt work. Then they gave me a stronger antibiotic which cost more and then it did work for a urninary track infection. I asked why they didnt give me this in the first place and i wanted to be credited. I was told i was going to be called by the manager of the facililty but i did not receive any call. Fast forward this past wed. My dog was very sick. They were trying to push me towards going to Newton $4000 a night. I know this bc i went there earlier that night. They charged me over $1000 for being there for 3 hours. Instead of listening to them i used my brain and decided to use my vet from back when I used to live in Bayonne and tranferred her there in the afternoon. She bounced back. My vet in bayonne discovered a rash that the vet ( on two visits) plus a visit with Newton hospital did not discover). And she stayed the over night. And i was charged a lot less. I spoke with the manager about my concerns and that was not a nice conversation. She stated i should have used "another vet if i thought they took advantage of clients", . If i knew i would. I was in shock as I thought my dog was dying. Please use Mt Olive vet as I heard they are reasonable. One other thing, i had to tell them that if the manager didnt give me a call back i would march down to their facility and thats when i finally recieved a call back. I will also write my experience on every social media there is because ppl do not deserve to get taken advantage of.

I have been to many Veterinary offices because of relocating over the last several years more times than is usual. I have to say that Budd Lake Animal Hospital stands out as the best of them all. Everyone I have met so far is just having a great day, received my shy dog with compassionate encouragement and just all around friendly. They all handled my dog skillfully and lovingly. The offices were clean and free of odors. The Dr. was open to telephoning me before I was even a patient to discuss an urgent problem, showing a strong commitment to general veterinary practice, and my pets well being as much as mine. I never had this many "right" attributes in any clinic my pets and I have been to yet. My pets and I will go there until we no longer live nearby, but now our standard has been raised for the next office. Hopefully though, we stay put a long while. Highly recommend you go see what really great veterinarians are like. I didnt know until we went here.

I started going here in 2009 when we got Our dog who is now 6. I do not trust any other place with my pets. Never a bad experience in the 6 years coming here. What really won me over was the fact they do not charge for vaccines to help you pay for other expenses for your pet which has definitely helped me and my husband out a lot!!! They have also squeezed us in for an emergency which turned out to not be such an emergency after all but they have done nothing but provide our pets with the upmost care, respect, and love and they exceed my expectations every time. I wouldnt trust anyone else, so thank you Budd lake animal hospital for all you do and taking great care of my babies!!!

Dr. Horn and Ashley are amazing. I think they love my Milo ALMOST as much as I do (and thats ALOT!) . I appreciate the time that they take with him, and how caring and comforting they are with my little old guy. Dr. Horn took the time to show me the pictures of Milos X-Rays and explained to me in wording that I could understand what was wrong, what was concerning, and where he had made improvements. Thank you all so much for what youve done for my fur baby. Its so truly appreciated! Milo loves you guys!

NOOOO---STARS....This experience was awful. Up- sell. Fees unrealistic. Advertising free shots- when you go they rush you into a room- no introduction- I have no idea if it was a doctor or he was a nurse and the rambling about cost with no connection to pet or owner. "Let us test for this...let us test for that"...I have had many many vets in my life- am new to the area- I would never recommend this place. Floors in entry filthy- front staff was nice- agreed with my observation.

We always have a great experience at Budd Lake Aiman Hospital. The staff and doctors are lovely - always friendly, warm and helpful! Our Otis can be a bit of a handful at times but everyone at Budd Lake is patient and gracious with him. The doctors are wonderful about calling to check in on Otis the few times hes been under the weather, and are always willing to answer questions. Thanks, Budd Lake!

I love Budd Lake Animal Hospital! Everyone working there is pleasant, kind and caring. The office is clean and everything runs smoothly. The Vet explains what is going on with my cats treatment and follows up with a telephone call to see how my cat is doing. I am so happy they opened, that I went there and hope everyone will give them a call if they need pet care.

I called about 2 weeks ago to make an appointment for my 2 kitties to get spayed and was told someone would call me back. I didnt get a call back so I e-mailed the website under contact us asking someone to reach out to me to make an appointment. I never heard back. I dont think I want to take my kitties to a place that cant even schedule an appointment.

Everyone at Budd Lake Animal Hospital truly love what they do. My dogs are greeted with a smile as soon as they walk in (as well as my wife and I). All of the vets are great and always spend time with our dogs, even if they are just in office for their shots. We recently moved out of the immediate area but will not leave Budd Lake Animal Hospital.

Everyone was very polite except one doctor who needs to take a couple courses on people skills. Very VERY overpriced, too! they give you an estimate for a procedure, end up NOT doing the procedure and then charge MORE than what the highest price on the estimate was. I will most likely not be going back to this Animal Hospital.

Everything! The staff is amazing. My pet had her teeth cleaning i was notified of everything going on with her & all just from the kindness of the staff & understanding my worry. The new dr is amazing & has you leaving understanding everything about your pet,while making it fun. Love this place & will recommend them to everyone.

I am very happy with the everyone working at Budd Lake Animal Hospital. They remember my dogs names and treat them as they would treat my children which is what they are. They are very kind and caring and always follow up after a procedure. They explain procedures and offer alternative treatments which is nice.
