Had my first visit here because we forgot to give our dog heartworm meds for a few months so we wanted to be extra cautious and have a heartworm test before we resumed. Had their "free" first time physical (our dog had a physical a few months ago but this was "required" for the heartworm test and we thought we would try them out since we live so close). Paid the $40 heartworm test which was negative. Went back the following week to buy heartworm meds and the tech (Alex, she was lovely) mentioned how she had used the 6 month heartworm injection in the past so she didnt forget to give the pill. I said I had no idea that an injection was an option. She said it would require another office visit ($50 physical exam plus the $50 injection). I asked if she could please mention to her manager that we were not given that option the week before at our appointment and would they be kind enough to waive the fee since we should have been told at the initial visit and absolutely would have paid for the injection at that time. The manager (Rebecca) sent Alex out to tell me no they "could not" waive the physical fee with some insultingly ridiculous explanation how the "computer wont let them." Rebecca didnt even bother showing her face and offering an apology for Dr. Craft not reviewing our heartworm med options the week before when it was LITERALLY the only reason for our visit. We will not be going back.

They try to sell you everything from a yearly plan to scheduling a "follow up" visit. Since you have already paid for a visit you dont think you have to pay for the follow up and find out you DO have to pay a fee when they have you sign a payment authorization before they see your pet for the follow up. They say oh its half the fee of the original appt but it turns out to be almost the full charge of $45.00. I dont know if they did this because we had a free coupon for the original office visit or if its there normal way of doing business. Their motto should be Show Me the Money.

Very nice staff. The wellness plan is well worth for a new kitten or puppy.
