My experience was awful. I made an online appointment for an eye exam for my daughter several days in advance. The appointment was confirmed via text message on my cell phone in addition to my receiving an email confirmation. My daughter was home from college for a break but needed to drive back to college (out of state) right after the appointment. We arrived for the appointment 10 minutes early as requested. The girl at the counter would not look at us directly in the eye the entire time we were there. She said she couldnt find my daughters name on the schedule for that day. I showed her the text message that I received on my phone confirming the appointment and she said there must have been a glitch in the system because they had no record of it. She told us we would have to come back. My daughter and I said we could not believe this and the girl finally went back and asked the doctor if we could be seen. When she returned, she said that the doctor would try to fit us in but we would have to wait and she didnt know for how long. Needless to say, we left and will never go back! I had been a long time customer at Target Optical but never again at the California location. The girl was very rude, unfriendly and unprofessional....she did not seem to care at all about the inconvenience wed experienced. And...to top all of this off, the next morning I received an email from Target Optical stating "sorry you missed your eye exam". What? Unbelievable! The worst part of all of this is not that there is a "glitch" in their system, it is the fact that the girl we were dealing with could have cared less (extreme case of poor customer service). I will never recommend this location to any of my family or friends.
