I thought I had hit the jackpot when I found Dr. Kessler, but my recent experience with her and her office has quickly made me realize how little she cares about her patients. Dr. Kessler told me that I only needed to come in every two years. My last visit was November 2015. I moved out of town last year, and will be moving back in September. I did not realize that I was out of prescription refills until I tried to pick up my birth control at the pharmacy last month. Long story short, Dr. Kessler REFUSED to write me a prescription for even 1 month let alone the 6 months I had asked until I could come in for an office visit to discuss different birth control options. I had no idea that this was even a policy until 3:15 pm on a Friday, 2 days before I was supposed to start a new pack. After going back and forth, I got fed up and asked for my medical records so I could find a different doctor. I was disgusted. The office lied to me and said that it was a HIPAA violation for them to email me my own medical records; they insisted that I would either have to essentially take off work, drive the 2 hours to their office, and pick them up in person, or I would have to pay for them to be mailed to me. As I didnt know I needed to find a new doctor until they refused my refill request, I didnt have an office fax number for them to send the records directly to. In order for a medical provider to have electronic records, they are required to prove that they can send encrypted medical records electronically. I refuse to believe that a BSW affiliated clinic is unable to handle this type of request in 2017. This whole ordeal left a really bad taste in my mouth, especially since I had hoped that Dr. Kessler would be my OB when I decide to start a family. I was willing to move on and let it go, until I got a call from my pharmacy. 3 weeks after the whole ordeal, Dr. Kessler decided to fill my prescription after all. Where was the sense of urgency? What did she expect I was going to do without birth control for 3 weeks? I GUARANTEE that this only happened because I found another OBGYN and had their office request my medical records. This only goes to show that Dr. Kessler and staff have zero interest in developing personal relationships with their patients. They are only interested in their bottom line.

I took my daughter to see Dr Kessler and was very pleased with the visit! The wait was a little longer than Im accustom to, but Dr Kessler was so thorough and easy to talk to that it made up for the extended wait time. Were definitely going to be back as Im sure my daughter will use Dr Kessler for her (years from now) obstetrics and gynecological needs.

Very loving and kind. I just wish that my hospital stay had been more pleasant I was treated like a drug addict when I asked for extra pain meds right after having major abdominal surgery by the nurses in the hospital because dr.kessler told them I was fine and not to give me anything else. Other then that she is one of the best obgyns Ive ever had.

Dr. Kessler was the most caring, kindest doctor. She sat and listened to my concerns, and answered all of my questions. Her staff was very warm and friendly. I did not have to wait long at all. Great office. I look forward to Dr. Kessler serving my ob/gyn needs for a long time! I will be back!

Absolutely the best OBGYN Ive gone to. Everyone that I dealt with was quick, helpful, courteous and sweet. Kimberly Austin was wonderful, sweet, thorough and very knowledgeable. They have in house imaging and procedure rooms, which makes procedures very convenient. Happy I found these ladies!

Love Love Love this woman. She answers all of your questions no matter how silly they are( I had a lot of them!). Very patient and really knows her patient. My mother goes to her now and she feels the same. I had my one and only child at 40 and she was so supportive.

Caring and Attentive! Dr. Kessler has really been there for me; her understanding of my fears and patience with me has meant the world to me. Her staff is just as generous with their compassion, caring, and attentiveness!

Awesome Dr. Took her time, listened to what my wife wanted and what was concerned about, then proceeded to give her explanations and options that fit her needs. My wife definitely intends to continue seeing Dr. Kessler.

They are rude to any Medicaid patients and are no longer accepting any new Medicaid patients. Im sure theyre great people but if youre black or have Medicaid do not go please. Theyre not the nicest.

I called yesterday to make an appointment as a new patient, but your receptionist was very uncourteous and unfriendly. I certainly wouldnt want someone that unprofessional to represent my business.
