I have been a patient at Exton Vision Center for 40 years. I wear both contacts and glasses.The staff is nothing but warm and welcoming from the minute you enter the door. Whenever Ive had a problem - broken glasses, lost contact, theyve always been accommodating and helped me out. I saw Dr. Alan Cohen for the past 46 years, and only stopped due to his semi-retirement. I was then referred to Dr. Heather Kinney. I was very nervous to see a new eye doctor after seeing mine for 36 years. She was awesome. She took her time, listened to all my issues, problems and concerns. She thoroughly examined my eyes and tweaked my prescription. It took a few tries, but she didnt give up and was never annoyed at how many times I showed up. Once she got it right, she got it right and I am so happy. I am very happy with the new doctor. My husband and children also go Exton Vision Center and they too are nothing but please with their professional, helpful and friendly demeanor. A+ in my book!!

I went to this optician because I needed three boxes of colored contact lenses, each to be ordered without a prescription. During the visit, the optician, Roger Alburn, told me I had a possible cataract, which was untrue and something a doctor should not say to a patient. He instilled fear in me regarding this and I do not appreciate that. He even asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment with another doctor in order to be visited for the cataract, which I kindly declined. Later and without my consent or knowledge, he scheduled the appointment anyway. I find this highly unprofessional. Regardless and once my visit was over, I ordered the contact lenses. A week later I picked up my order and to my surprise, found out that not only the color for the lenses was wrong, but that the optician supplied me with a sample for which he does not even pay. I am very dissatisfied with this service and am writing this letter to disclose this matter to the public.

My son had his first appointment at 10:30 am for a routine eye exam. I was running 5 mins late so I called at 10:30 am to inform them I was on my way. The receptionist told me I would have to be rescheduled because the next patient was already there and they would not have time to fit us in. She told me I could wait until 2pm to be seen! I highly doubt they have appointments scheduled within 5 minutes of each other. I would completely understand if I didnt call to inform them I was running late or arrived 30 mins after my appointment, but to reschedule for being 5 minutes late is absurd! I was extremely upset because I had to take off work to make the appointment. If you have kids that are in school, you most likely know theyre not always able to be released the second you arrive and have to wait a few minutes. Dont plan on visiting this place if youre going to be 5 minutes late. Ill never schedule an appointment with this place again.

Ive been a patron of Exton Vision since 1995. Ive always had good service through those years. The staff is accommodating and flexible with my "spur of the moment" drop ins for new eyewear or appointments. They have the latest frames and are quick to help narrow down my decisions. In addition, they are all too happy to send me on my way with lots of sample contacts to try. I once asked them if I could stop by in order to understand a visual field test, which was something I was working on for my job. They gladly invited me to stop in between patients and the doctor on staff and Mark walked me through the entire procedure and the type of results the test would provide. Any problems with purchased materials are always taken care of, which has been only once during those many years. Thanks Exton Vision!

Just go to visionworks and save yourself a lot of money. The whole glasses thing is a scam. A crock. I did not care for this shop. They suggested bifocals. I dont like them. its not big deal putting my glasses on my head to see up close. They suggested the newer black thick rimmed glasses. I dont like them. They are too wide for my face and I went back to tighten them and they did nothing. He played with them for a minute. but did nothing to them. They fall off my face all the time. Forget the smaller shops, Im going back to vision works. And they are way overpriced. That is my review. One last thing, they guys who adjust your glasses are not there when I can get there at lunch time. They leave from 12-2, what the hell is that? you get there at 10 and leave for lunch for two hours?

I have been a long time client (7 + years) of Exton Vision Center and can honestly say that the staff is fantastic. They are very personable, caring and good at what they do. I get both contacts and glasses here, and have always had a pleasant experience. A few months back my 2 year old snapped off the arm of my glasses and I stopped in without an appointment to see if they could be fixed. They took great care of me and did everything they could to fix them. I highly recommend Exton Vision Center.
