I went to this location on 5/16/17 and will never go back. If I could give no stars I would. I went in with symptoms of strep. I am prone to strep throat, so I knew I needed to get tested for it. When I was called back, the male nurse working was very rude. He told me what room to go to and moved on to something else. I went and sat down in the room. About 15 minutes later, the same nurse came in looking for materials for other patients and said "ill be back soon, I have injuries to take care of" and closed the door. Once he finally came back, he got my vitals and asked what I was coming in for. I told him my symptoms and that I am used to getting strep and he said "ok, this is an easy one" and walked out of the room. After that, the doctor came in and asked the same thing the nurse did. I told her and all she did was listen to my heart. Then she sent another nurse in to swab my throat. She needs to learn how to do a strep test because she barely touched my throat with the swab. After a few minutes, the doctor came back in and said "we all looked and thought the test was negative. Its just allergies" I was discharged and as I was walking out, the male nurse said rudely "just take Tylenol and youll be fine". The next day after I hadnt gotten any better, I went to a different doctor. This doctor saw my swollen lymph nodes automatically and actually looked into my ears, nose, and mouth. They swabbed me and I was positive for strep. Also the doctor said I had a sinus infection. I finally got the proper attention. This week, I was charged $205 for my worthless visit. I am a 19 year old college student and didnt need to be charged anything after my insurance. Telling me to take Tylenol for pain is not $205 worth of treatment. Do not ever go here. They WILL rip you off.

The front desk receptionist CARLA was very rude. Upon checking in to this place she told me that they needed a credit card on file.i Asked for What. She told me. I gave her MY credit card. She handed me paperwork to fill out. I took it and stood there because i was Waiting on my credit card back. She looked at me with the nastiest and disrespectful look on her face and said "have a seat!!!" i said Im Waiting on my credit card back Before i sit down. She snatched the card and id off of her side of the counter and said "you can have both of em back (with an attitude) without inputing my card info in the computer. This made me suspicious of her and my credit card. I went to fill out the paper work and i could hear her laughing and talking about me to other employees. I came back to the desk after filling out my paperwork and tried to give her my id and credit card again..she declined them saying i have other people ahead of you i need to process. I walked around the urgent care seeking a supervisor for her while i Waited and an employee gave me a supervisor Who was not there. (so carla said). Dissapointed and never will i go to this place or recommend it to anyone. Nothing with Wellstreet of piedmont again!

Went on a Sunday evening. Got there at 7:25 and was pleased to see that there werent too many people waiting. Here is where the fun starts. Even though my retired military insurance doesnt need a referral for urgent care, THAT FACILITY DID. What the heck???? I call my insurance, and find that they could give an authorization number over the phone, but receptionist states that this facility needed it by fax and that it could take 30-45 minutes to receive that fax, but they would be closing at 8:00 and couldnt see me. How does she know its going to take that long for insurance to fax anything? I have great insurance and the people helping me were awesome. I told them my dilemma and they were shocked at her lack of professionalism. I guess my complaint is that check in girl didnt seem like she had any desire to help. I obviously didnt see any other staff, so I can only go by my experience with her. I would think that, yes doors are locked at 8:00 but people who made it into the facility before that time should be seen. I expected more from Piedmont.

I AM CALLING COOPERATE OR SOMEONE WHOEVER I CAN CONTACT ABOUT THIS PLACE - DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE if you have any other option, I could barely walk, stand up straight or sit when I walked in this place, I was in so much pain, with a pinched sciatic nerve very painful. The staff was very unfriendly or caring and the so called DR Or NP Deanna Richardson, she was horrible very unfriendly or caring just like her staff but she was very rushy she was in a hurry to get out of there and would not listen to what I saying, She gave me some kind of injection it was not steroids but something weaker it absolutely did nothing I left in the same way as when I walked in barely walking barely standing she never even did an xray nothing just gave me the injection said that is all I can do and out she goes next thing a nurse comes in and has my paper work and says maybe go to ER in you need to that is all we can do here. I went to Peiedmont Urgent care in McDonough On Wednesday 5/31/17. I had symptom like I had the flue. Plus very dose through. I was very weak and Im a lot of pain. I explained that it all started Saturday. And I felt this was different from what I know the flu normally felt like. I only got diagnosed for the throat. I asked what about the pain and weaknesses. They said Tylonal and Motrin would take care of it. Well I was still attached to my bad. Could barely make it to the bathroom. I tried reaching the doctor on Saturday 6/3/17. Sunday 6/4/17. I went to the hospital emergency room. And it was a struggle. It turns out I needed a blood transfusion. They totally ignored all my other symptoms. I will never use any urgent care again. especially the McDonough one. They are going to want to charge me what the insurance doesnt pay. Yet gave no care to my health. Dont go There.

I am very eageared to write this review because it is very rare in our society to encounter a pleasant experience. From the time I walked in and spoke to Megan at the front desk. She was friendly and found out that we both are expecting (all smiles here). Here comes Scott (my Nurse)! You can tell that he loves and have found his calling in life. Helping people is what he was born to do. He will converse with you and make you feel that good ole Southern hospitality. Asking me if theres anything else he can do and being very interactive with his patients. To end my visit, Dr. Robyn was very informative and made sure that her diagnosis was on point. Thank you Piedmont Urgent Care in McDonough! Its in the smallest act of kindness people will know about you all over GA. Keep it up!
