we first took our 13+ year old cat in for an eye problem while there she was walking funny they found a cut on her foot . They were so nice there, they took our cat cleaned both her eye and foot and told us to come back if it did not heal up. We did go back and we were told it was now possible cancer and they wanted to do blood work and chest x-rays but when we were told the price we asked for payment plans and they were willing to work with us on it however she slowly got worse not better and when we told them we were not going to do anything but keep her comfortable as we were positive it was cancer and we could lose her if we went through the surgery they agreed and are now helping us keep her hydrated and also pain free. I want to say thank you to all your work there and to the workers you are amazing care bunch and to Dr. Kimber Kugler we are so happy to have you and thank you for making her life easier and being there for us during this time. I will definitely be bringing the other cat in the family into you guys and you already have our dog. Thank you for working with us and always answering any questions we have.

People always leave comments about the vets, and say wonderful things. I will agree, the vets there are great. Very compassionate and attentive to your pets. There is one person on the staff though that sticks out in my mind, and that person would be Josh. Every time I have gone there with my two dogs he has been great. My most recent visit was a very sad one, we had to put down our loving dog Angel. Josh sat and spoke with us longer than Id ever expect a vet tech to. He told us about himself and his family and also his own experience being a dog owners. He was so caring and understanding and kept making sure we knew we were doing the right thing for her, and she would no longer be suffering. He was even able to make me laugh a bit. He definitely made the whole horrible process/experience. just a little bit easier. So Josh if you are reading this I would like to say thank you for everything!

Ive worked with all three vets at this location, all are excellent. The vet techs are excellent as well. When my kitty became very ill, Dr. K. really took care of us and was so empathetic to our situation. I appreciate her straight forward assessment of the situation and she also was honest about what she would do if she where in our shoes. Weve also boarded our dogs here. I started going here a few years ago when we got our then puppy and we had a voucher from the Humane Society. I have since switched over our other animals and everyone now goes here. Thank you guys for everything you do for our crazy bunch.

I had been going there for years for my 14 year old dog. Got convinced to take pet insurance and they did a full testing and found nothing wrong with my dog. I took my dog 5 months later feeling sick and got charged $350 for visit and had to take to the emergency hospital because they could not stabilize. I had to pay another $250 at the emergency hospital because she died. I then got another bill for $1000 for the pet insurance from them. The later settled for $475 but will never go there again! They claim the services on the pet insurance were done and were owned. Thanks for nothing!

Ive been taking my pets to VCA Rock Creek for about ten years and I couldnt be happier with the service there. Terri, Kim and the whole team are wonderful. Dr Kugler is a real gem and takes wonderful care of my cats. They work with me and dont try to push unwanted services on us which is something Ive experienced at other vets. Im so happy theyre in my neighborhood! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, competent veterinary care. If you love your pets, take them here!

Thank you all at VCA Rock Creek for saving my little Cocos leg! Great place and definitely the only place I will be bringing my 3 babies from now on. They make you feel your pet is important, not how much money they can make. From the receptionist that was amazingly nice, to the nurse that was so very professional and loving and the doctor - Dr. Peterson - who really knows what shes doing, they are all a great team.

I have been taking my weimy Apollodorus there since he was 8 weeks old (he is now 2 years old) and he loves them all. It has become his second home -- he is as happy to see them as he is when he sees his everyday family! The staff truly is committed to quality customer service and excellent care at all times, they are always professional and very willing to assist. You cannot go wrong with their level of care.

They have taken such good care of my past & present fur kids. They were so compassionate when my cat got sick, I was even given a foot print of his on his passing. That was a long time ago & I still use & would recommend VCA to everyone. The cat I have now is very healthy & very happy. We have been taking our dogs to VCA for about 3 years. Dr. Kugler is a DOLL, my puppies LOVE her! She is very patient and caring towards the pet and the owner. When we had to make the choice to put one our dogs down, the staff could not have been more caring and concerned. They really do treat you like family. I recommend them to anyone who asks where to take their pets.

So hard to find a good lizard doctor, Tim, the veterinary assistant, took complete control of my wily bearded dragon before Dr. Campbell came in to take care of my precious Pepe. Although he eventually lost his leg, Pepe was very comfortable with Dr. Campbell and every assistant that met him took care of him like their own. Love VCA!!

Dr. Campbell helped us with our 10 years old Maltese. Our dog had a cough for almost 2 weeks and dr Campbell was very patient with us and all our questions. Now our precious dog is almost back to normal. The clinic didnt overcharged us and we feel appreciated. Thanks to the fantastic girl in the front desk Fallon.

I love the doctors and staff at VCA Rock Creek. Everyone is so friendly and kind. They really make you feel at ease when your Pet is undergoing a procedure. They call to ensure you your pet is ok while in their care and they will even call once your pet is home. They are just amazing!

Dr Peterson is the vet I have been wanting my whole life. Incredibly invested in animals to the point her energy just draws my timid cat and Alzheimers dog directly to her. I gave this place five stars because of her attention and love. If you lose her, Im out.

Been taking my puppy here since I adopted him, I love the staff and the doctors. Dr Arcia is his primary one and she is truly a wonderful and lovely doctor. I love how all of the employees here have treated my dog. Really happy with this animal hospital.
