Banfield Pet Hospital is a SCAM. Stay away if you dont want to throw away your hard earned money. I took my two cats for a physical on a Saturday at the Coral Gables facility, and was told they needed a dental cleaning. Paid $382.46. Made appointment for the dental cleaning for the following Saturday. At no point did they give me an estimate for the dental cleaning. Dropped them off at 7:30am and asked what the cost would be and was told by a rude, half sleeping clerk, that usually costs $140. They would need anesthesia and pick up would be around 3pm. Was given paperwork to sign and I noticed that I had to initial next to some five extra items, things that could occur during the dental cleaning. I didnt hear from them so I called and was told to pick up at 5:30pm. I got there and asked for the bill. $569.62!!!! What, I said? I start shaking like a leave, astonished..... The cats needed extra sedation because they were aggressive and they could not do blood work .... Wouldnt you be aggressive too if you had to stay on a cage for 10 hours, without anything to eat since 10pm the night before? My cats dont bite nor do they have sharp nails, nails were trimmed the week before at the same hospital!!! But of course I had initialed next to the $62.91 each for the sedation, they showed me. They also charged for another physical, even though they had one done last week at the same place. Also, they charge customers for "medical waste disposal"... wait a minute, they have a license to operate a pet hospital and we have to pay for disposing medical waste????? Fee after fee... Rip off! They should be audited and inspected. They dont care about you or your pets. When I dropped them off the clerk shouts on a phone: DROP OFF! as if dropping off a sack of potatoes... STAY AWAY from Banfield! Sorry Petsmart, but I will not shop there anymore, I dont want to even see Banfield inside your stores.

Terrible costumer service they just dont care were talking here about the health of the familys pet. I spent more than 25 days waiting for a medication order. I paid it in the store, they were suppose to call and notify me within 5 days and nothing happened. You can tell the difference in the pets health after several days with no medication (it was an Insulin for a cat). I told them so and they just dont care. You guys are in the wrong business you are supposed to be caring and compassionate I think. I called them several times, I went in person twice asking for the reason of the delay. They didnt know what was going on and even worse they were like with bad attitude. A girl by the name of Samantha: Im still waiting for the call. The manager a young guy has such a bad manners. Anyway, Im never using your services again. Period!

Banfield is just a bad place to take your Pet. It is SUPER expensive, and the service is super poor. Lets start on how you have an appointment for a specific hour but they make you wait for almost 2 hours. What yo set an appointment for, then? And then, the vet is just trying to end the appointment super fast in addition of the fact that theyre like medicine sellers more than vets, since they always try to get you to buy super expensive medicine that your pet doesnt even need!!!! Theyre definitely all about the money. Oh!!! And please dont fall for the wellness plan, its a trick for your money. I had it for 2 years: Money going directly from my wallet to the garbage. When they want you to buy it, it covers everything and is super helpful; but when you need to use it it doesnt cover anything!!!

@banfieldpethospital THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THAT SHOULD EVER HAPPEN, AN IV/CATHETER SHOULD NEVER BE LEFT IN A DOG THAT IS SENT HOME. People, including myself, take our pets to you for top of the line care and professionalism (and we pay good money for it too might I add).... I took my dog in for a teeth cleaning yesterday only to learn today, while taking off her bandages that her IV/Catheter was left in her arm and bandaged right over. She was limping this morning but I thought it was just a sore leg from the needles.... I was obviously very wrong. The is a perfect example of pure carelessness and wreck lessens.bi am extremely disappointed and definitely re-considering future use of your services. #poorbaby #careless #banfieldpethospital #neveragain #reckless

The guy Rick is a troll posting anti-banfield on almost every location in Miami. Are they expensive? kinda but so is every single Vet out there. Go to a 24/7 and get charged 100+ for a checkup/shots or 300+ for an emergency. Atleast they care, and to say their only out for money is an idiotic statement at best. 1. They are a BUSINESS in a capitalistic free market. 2. They have government and PETSMART regulations that they must adhere to so if you have a problem then you should call the center for animal control or MDAS.

DO NOT GO TO BANFIELD!!! They only want your money and will put your pets health at risk to get it! They even gave my pet an infection, and when I complained they told me to sue them! This is the worst service/scam out there. You bring in your sick pet and they make him/her more sick and run all kinds of unnecessary tests to conclude what you already know so they can charge you. IF YOU VALUE YOU PETS HEALTH OR MONEY DONT GO HERE!! (Or any other Banfields ive been to many and had the same experiences)

This place seems like a conveyor belt, get patients in and out as quickly as possible. They dont offer any customer service, and didnt even give my dog a chance to calm down so they stuck a thermostat into my dogs butt while he was moving and of course that caused a lot of pain and has been the past few days hurting. Really disappointing experience. They used to offer good service and were quite affordable, now they charge you like a private vet and offer no service or care to your pet.

I hate that Im forced to give a star to this place cus I wouldnt give not even one! I had an emergency and got there 15 mins before they closed. I called and told them I was parking and had an emergency with my cat, asked them to please wait. They just told me We cant receive you. We are almost closing and sent me to another place that was like 30 mins away. Thank you guys!!! Just so you know, my cat died. Thank you for your great service and care.

Do yourself a favor and never go to this benfield. Go to the one in midtown or else where. Had an appointment at 2:30, they received us 1 hour later. Vet (doctor bonnamy)was rude, arrogant and uncooperative. He was also rough with my dog and had bad breath. Dr bonnamy, if your gonna b an antisocial, dont be a vet.
