Just checked into the new and fabulous Tatum Eyecare office, that once was formerly the Optique at the Ridge and Optical Illusions offices. They have an even bigger selection of trendy cute frames, and the same great doctors, staff, and same great service as before. Having worn glasses most of my life, I have seen many optometrists over the years. My usual routine for selecting an optometry practice always seemed to be based exclusively on the styles of frames they carried, with the actual exam and personality of the doctor sadly being my last concern. The big chains always overwealmed me...and I never ever left feeling like I connected with the staff or doctor. I never realized how much I was missing out on, in finding the perfect combination of style options and an amazing doctor, until I took my son to see Dr. Fuller at Optical Illusions, 4 years ago. My son was 5 and I decided to have his eyes checked, considering I was wearing glasses by 3rd grade. A friend highly recommended Dr. Fuller to me, so I made an appointment for my son and I. After that visit, I realized what I had been missing out on all these years. Dr. Fuller was fantastic with my son. He engaged him throughout the entire exam and knew all the tricks to ensure that the exam was thorough and complete, as he was relying on the perspective of a child. Not to mention that his awesome sense of humor and ability to incorporate it into what most expect to be a monotonous eye exam, makes the entire experience fun! He diagnosed a condition that I had never considered could be present, and referred my son for further testing with a pediatric optometrist. My son absolutely loved him, and so do I. His staff took the time to help us find the perfect pair of glasses for my son, and he had a blast trying on the frames. My son and I look forward to our annual visit to Tatum Eyecare and seeing Dr. Fuller. The new office is beautiful ...and carries the latest in trendy and high end frames, all at very affordable prices. I highly recommend this practice for your familys eyecare needs!!! One can never have too many glasses at home to accessorize with!

Not a great selection of frames from which to choose, but what they have are quality and very nice. And they assure me the new store will have a much larger selection. They use very good labs to have the lenses made. I have tough glasses to make, and I havent had a problem yet. And their customer service is terrific. But they are moving in the last week of April 2016! And their name is changing to Tatem Eye Care. Unfortunately, their color choice of colors on their new business card is illegible. So, since it took me five minutes to read their entire new name on the card, I cant read the address. I just know it will be on Tatum. I will gladly see them at their new location. Their optometrists are very good.

Decided to purchase glasses here. Walked in, 2 ladies with no one else in the store. Waited forever before someone acknowledged me and helped me order glasses. When I went back to pick up my glasses there were two ladies behind the desk without any customers. Again waited forever before someone acknowledge and helped me. Poor customer service. Disappointed since I was looking for a new eye doctor, but wont go here again.

I have been going to Dr. McPhalen for several years for eye exams and glasses. My glasses have always come out perfect. Last week I decided to get prescription sunglasses because I am going on vacation to the Caribbean in a couple of months. The very helpful staff found me just the right style and size and took the time to answer all of my questions about all the extras one can add to the lenses.

Ive been seeing Dr. Fuller for over 5 years when this business was Optique up the street at desert ridge. He recently closed the 2 offices to merge them into Tatum EyeCare. The new office is really nice and modern, and I cant say enough about Dr. Fuller and his staff. Top notch care. Really nice selection of both affordable glasses as well as designer brands in the retail space.
