My first visit ever to this office. (I was going for an ortho consultation) The only person that treats you like a human is the manager there, her name is Deborah. The orthodontist there is very rude and does not have a good bed side manner. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I was going in for braces for the first time and put my teeth down in very horrible manner. Apparently if I am coming in for braces it means I know that I need and want them, thats why I was there, not to be put down. Very unprofessional. You do not treat people this way especially if they are paying to have services done by you. I would never never recommend this dental office but most of all never recommend this orthodontist. I was treated very negatively. Getting your smile fixed is supposed to be a fun and positive experience. They are supposed to help you move forward. The doctor was treating me like I was not smart enough to understand what he was saying. He greeted me as if I had dirt on my face or something. I have been having work done on my teeth and he criticized me. When he came in the room for his consultation, his assistant did NOT come in there with him. He did not make me feel comfortable at all. He also made my son uncomfortable and he wasnt even the one there for treatment. I have tried to reach out to Maria Vargas but to no avail no one has reached back out to me. If I could give me experience a -1 I would have.

El servicio Fue horrible, se nota que no les gusta atender a niños, el dentista le tallo los dientes a mi hijo y le hizo sangrar todas las encías mi hijo se puso a llorar de dolor y el dentista le tapó la boca y parte de la nariz, mi hijo no pudo cerrar la boca durante 6 horas ni tomar agua menos probar alimento se quejaba del dolor, no vuelvo a este horrible lugar.

Muy mal servicio, cada 6 meses le hacen la limpieza y rayos x a mi hija , y cuando salgo de allí mi niña le duele un diente y era caries y nunca lo vieron, y cuando la llevo me cobraron por emergencia y otra vez pague los rayos x , cuando el error era de ellos , muy mala atención

I absolutely love this dentist office!!! I have been to other dentist and they were rude, unprofessional and made me feel really bad for having a cavity. I love how professional the staff in the front as well as the back are. Dr. Kahn was AMAZING!! I got a filling done it ended up being a little high but she fixed it! I had a early morning appointment so I didnt have much a wait time which was a good thing..if you are looking for a dentist please visit south Texas dental you wont regret the decision to go!

The worse experience ever,I would definitely NOT recommend this place>Today,during an orthodontics appointment for braces for my daughter I notice that the two assistants were sharing the tools from my daughter to another kid and vice versa,the other parent notice the same thing and when we asked the Doctor was upset,rude and argued back,we were mistreated and now we both will be going as far as necessary with this issue.DON"T GO THERE YOU MAY BE PAYING TO GET A CONTAGIOUS DISEASE. RATE = 0

Went in for exam x-rays and cleaning. Was told have to do filling but had to go out to desk and waiting room for 10 minutes snd paid for it. Then told would not be seen for 20 minutes. It was almost 10 am. Had to get back to work. Dont have all morning to spend at dentist. Should have done cleaning then set appointment for filling another time. Also when I have a 9 am appointment that doesnt mean 15 after 9 am.

I made an appointment for an ortho consult I called to confirm the appointment and was told 11am only to show up and be told my son did not have and appointment. I showed the lady the number and asked is this not the number she barely looked. I thought I was crazy. I doubled checked the sign and location and yes I was in the right place I went on ahead and left I cant do business there . Terrible experience.

Everyone is always so pleasant when I come here. Ive had two visits where I had to get work done by two different dentists and both made me feel very comfortable and made sure that I was in no pain while they were working. Also the staff at the front desk always is nice and always smiling and make sure Im taken care of! Ill always recommend South Texas Dental because of the staff!

The staff there are very friendly. The only gripes is how busy the place can be in middle of the day, so being there early is a must. Usually, also the hygienist and or another dentist is not there makes people reschedule their appointments after doing their X-ray. Everything else is fine though, I would always come back as prices and staff are really great to me.

front office is slow. Tried to say my insurance wouldnt work and they didnt even check. Waited 10 minutes and after they kept telling me to leave the office manager actually took the time and....WOW!!! My insurance actually worked. The dentists was nice and took their time with my son. The front office is full of lazy people that dont know how to do their job.

Very great service I always refer people and coworkers there.. Especially dr.oneal and her assistant which is both of my kids dentist. The staff very kind and sweet. They always take their time . When my son had got his cavities filled he was very nervous and the dentist and her assistant was very good at calming him down they were even singing to him .

I really like Dr. Perry. She is the best! She explains things to you and your options. She takes really good care of her patients. The main reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because the person who does the teeth cleaning is usually not there. Therefore you have to make another trip and take time off from work. Staff is helpful and friendly.

My daughter is a patient at South Texas Dental for many years. Dr. Nowaz is a very professional, patient, and wonderful dentist. Today we met Ms. Share, the dental hygienist, she is a very well educated and polite lady. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Nowaz for your next dental appointment.

Worst service! You have to wait for two hours before being served even if you have an appointment! I dont know why they give appointments if they cant keep them! They need to realize people got business to take care off other than waiting for two hours at their office!

Dr. Farooq and Patel at South Texas Dental are phenomenal! Discovering I had multiple cavities and needed my last wisdom tooth removed was both painful and frightening.... Luckily I walked into the perfect dental office to fix me up expeditiously.
