After years of pet plans and major surgeries with these people, their "Vet" failed to check for or detect a UTI with my 3 year old and otherwise quite healthy male indoor/outdoor mainecoon/persian mix cat. They told me he was howling in pain, urinating in unusual places and lethargic because we simply needed to change our litter. I expressed my concern with an office visit then 3 phone calls. They said they ran blood tests and found nothing, only later did I decide to call back and ask did they specifically check for a UTI, they hadnt. I was repeatedly told to just change his litter and that this was an emotional response, and if I really wanted a test for a UTI I would have to collect the urine myself at home!!! How on earth could I be expected to do that?? I tried at home remedies to see if anything helped him, adding water to wet food seemed to help, but he wouldnt take anything with apple cider vinegar. With a quite devastating end, I learned that you cannot trust this vet office, my cat died. When I was able to call without crying (about a month later) I asked that they stop charging me for the pet plan for both him and my dog as well as I can not go back to them...they wanted me to pay them for the remainder of the policy in order for the monthly billing to stop. I couldnt believe that they wanted me to pay them a lump sum for my pet that they neglected to help. I am disgusted with this office and frankly I am nervous to go to anyone with my pets now. With the most common issue to kill my beloved pet and they failed to even consider it, they are INCOMPETENT! Please dont risk your pets lives with these people!

I want to take a minute to let everyone know about the incredibly spectacular experience we had at Banfield, West Linn. We came in having seen another vet for our sick kitty a week prior. During our visit with the previous vet clinic, i feel like we were a dollar sign and rushed out the door when we explained we were on a budget. At banfield, the staff and doctors went WAY above and beyond to figure out what was wrong with our Skidder. After learning about the wellness plan, we agreed to some testing. Thank to over the top care for pets the doctors took it a step further. After many hoops they found out our Skidder had very end stage cancer with maybe a couple days to a week to live and gave us our options. There wasnt many. But they were willing to try, at least. After much deliberation with my family, I left with many tears and many tissues and a "sleeping" kitty. I could not have had a better experience at such a VERY sad time. I am just sorry i had to end the poor doctors day on a very sad note. Also, we had our kids with us as most families do. They front desk staff went way above and beyond and basically babysat our boys while we dealt with this terrible news. I will be FOREVER grateful to the staff and doctors here and will be a forever client. Thank you so much for all you do. Even if at times its not the fun stuff, you make it easier to grieve and process. Bless you all.

After reading reviews online I decided to change my kitty from the 82nd location and bring him to this location. The staff themselves were friendly. However when I brought my cat in on October 31st for his dental cleaning, the vets office did not call to give me an update on my cat after he was done with anesthesia, I had to call and find out how he was. On that phone call I was told that they would give me a call when the anesthesia wore off (this was at noon). 5:00 rolls around and still no phone call from the office. So I called to find out about him once more, I was then told "oh yes your kitty has been awake for a while and ready to go home". So why didnt I get a phone call to pick up my cat???? Then when I went to pick up my kitty they just handed me him in his cat carrier, no room or even a visit with the dr when he was done. When I get home, I notice both of his front paws shaved and he has a giant bruise on one arm from them trying to get ivs in and he has been constantly licking it because it hurts. Im not happy with my experience at this vet, and will not return to this location again.

Friendly caring staff. Take time with you and your pet. Will advise you when additional care/expense is not needed. Clean, quiet. Good supply of veterinary food and supplies. Good hours so can drop off before work and pick up in evening. Neither my dog or cat is ever afraid to be dropped off here or ever acts terrified when they are picked up.

The ease and readiness to see the vet was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and the veterinarian explained everything to me in plain language so I could understand. I was very pleased with the outcome and would definitely recommend this smaller office to anyone who needs a vet right away.

As far as vets go, these guys take the cake. They cared for my dog, deeply explained my options for treatment, and gave their personal opinion that seemed in line with real people and not just vets concerned with making money. Will always come here.

The "free pet exam" is a lie. The bill came out TWICE the amount than what they originally told me for a dental cleaning! Poor treatment of animals, unprofessional service.
